Sunset Grill is a diner that does breakfast the old-fashion way: eggs, steak, toast and coffee. The surroundings are bright and simple, just the thing you need first thing in the morning.
Was in Toronto for a weekend. Walked down Yonge St. and went in To Sunset Grill for breakfast around 9:30 AM. We sat and the waitress came over right away with menus and took our drink order. This used to be one of our default choices in the Beach. But our last brunch here, during the winter, was just OK. It is a hot crowded and noisy place. Maybe this was OK back in the day, but it is a turn-off now. Cannot see any return visits. Mars Diner is just as good with a more comfortable... more
