Studio Glass offers tours of their fused glass production studio located in the historic Village of Maitland in rural Nova Scotia. In this very peculiar and historic building, visitors can explore the actual production plant, the fine art studio, the classroom space and the retail shop. As part of the Atlantic ÉCONOMUSÉE Network, the public is invited to talk with the artisans and ask questions.

Beautiful and interesting glass

a lovely little shop with a wonderful selection of fused glass items and other pottery and handicrafts.
the fish were VERY lifelike and the evergreens made of left over glass were gorgeous. The prices were very reasonable and they pack your items so that they can survive the plane trip back home.

November 02, 2012Cute little place in Maitland worth spending a spell for a looksee. Some cute items from all over Canada (check out the pottery animals in the corner of the smaller room!) as well as the wonderful glass items made on-site. Friendly service to boot!

October 19, 2012A lovely shop, but also the opportunity to design your own piece of Fused Glass. Great fun searching through a vast pile of glass scraps for just what you need to create your design. Friendly and helpful staff.
