Historic architecture; breathtaking elegance. Built in 1850, St. Lawrence Hall was the social centre of Toronto, playing host to the most glittering and important events of the 19th century. There are several meeting and banquet facilities to choose from, including the Great Hall with its elaborate plaster ceiling, gleaming gas-lit crystal chandeliers ... more
Nice Place, well restored, quite small though on the inside. Probably better for small weddings then what we rented it for.
A meeting place and gathering spot for locals, St. Lawrence Hall has a historic significance in being the place from where noted politicians addressed huge crowds. The hall also served the purpose of an amphitheater and several cultural performances took place here. Today it is used to host weddings, conferences and public events.
