We just stopped in while watching the ferries arrive and chatted with the staff for a while about things. They were quite outgoing and warm and the art is excellent, although we didn't buy anything because we were going to be on an airplane. Recommend you stop.
If you are waiting for the ferry, or just a day it in Horseshoe Bay, I recommend that you go into this shop.
Yes, there are other shops, selling what can only be described as tat, but the Spirit Gallery doesn't sell tat. It sells First Nation items and you will be over whelmed by what's on offer.

While you are waiting to catch a ferry at Horseshoe Bay, West Vancouver, take the time to visit the Spirit Gallery along the waterfront. They have a lovely selection of First Nation's art in a wide range of prices. Their service is outstanding. I bought an expensive vase there for my daughter that was damaged as I took it home.... more
