dark and deadly
a very small, dark and brooding place. great for a romantic night, or a gossip session. may i recommend the after eight martini. delicious, with a little piece of chocolate at the bottom.

Honestly, great martini menus, great place in the back, pretty trendy and cosy. Nice girl behind the bar.

Don't go hungry because
September 05, 2008Don't go hungry because Souz Dal doesn't serve food. And don't go early because Souz Dal doesn't open until 8pm. But go with the expectation of having real caiprinhas and real mojitos (the plural is deliberate because you can't have just one!).

Souz Dal has managed to be hip for several years now. The sultry space evokes exotic locations like Marrakesh or Istanbul with a vibrant color scheme, beaded curtains, lazy ceiling fans, flickering candlelight and velvet pillows. Music is usually down-tempo or trip hop. This is the sort of place where you sip martinis and cosmos, nibble on pistachios, and chill. Extremely popular for dates, too.
