I really love the convenience of spud.... but if eating locally is what your goal is (as it was for me), there are better ways to achieve this. A few weeks ago, I ordered some apricots. The vendor was supposed to be within 100kms of the warehouse (as it said on the receipt) - but when my apricots arrived, they all had stickers on them that read "California" and the name of a completely... more
