Slainte is easily my favourite pub in Hamilton.
The atmosphere is very dark, wood and reminiscent of a true Irish pub. The service is always on point. I've been to this pub at least 50 times in my life and have always had excellent service.

Terrible venue. Non authentic "Irish" pub. Drinks were stale, servers were not attentive and never checked on us. Music was c@!%!y and patrons were old and obnoxious. No live music either, like any other real Irish pub. But apparently, this is the only Irish pub in downtown Hamilton. Don't expect much from this place.
