This is no ordinary Thai eatery it's more like SOHO meets Southern Thailand. Very cool in style, yet very warm in spirit. There's art on the walls, world music in the air, and maybe a celebrity or three, or one of the city's top chefs having a meal. They love Grace's cooking. Grace is the Owner and Executive Chef Siriwan Rerksuttisiridach. Bangkok born and raised, she apprenticed under Penpan... more

Spice fans are "never disappointed" at this affordable Yaletowner where "tasty" Thai dishes come "as mild or as wild as you can handle"; solid service and a traditionally decorated space with an open kitchen and patio complete the picture.
You know you're in Yaletown when your Thai restaurant has a 19-page wine list with rare Turley Zinfandels. The basics, such as a stellar pad Thai ($15), are flawless, but let yourself be steered off the beaten path to such unique flavours as the pla lard prig (whole fried tilapia in pineapple, bell peppers, and three-flavour sauce) to see the difference between this and most other of the city's... more

We had the violet dumplings (which were delicious) & vegetarian spring rolls. My husband had pad Thai and I had a green curry. All of the food was excellent. Our waitress was attentive but unobtrusive. We will definitely return the next time we are in Vancouver.

We shared a satay appy, soup, a pad Thai, a stir fry and...

Our concierge recommended this as the best Thai in town. Maybe we hit it on an off night. The service was awful. I made it clear I wanted a diet coke(I am diabetic) but got a regular coke. Asked for lots of ice in our drinks and didn't get it. Couldn't get waitresses attention. Asked for two checks for two... more
A taste of Thailand in the heart of trendy Yaletown. The menu ranges from the house special of beet-infused minced chicken dumplings to curries served in a fresh coconut. $$. L (M-F), D (daily).

Simply Thai is mainly what the name suggests. At this restaurant, you will be served authenticity on a platter as far as Thai cuisine is concerned. Not to mention the variety of wines, the bar has to offer. Don't be surprised if you bump into a well-known celebrity at this completely Thai-themed restaurant. Call for lunch and dinner timings.
