Mostly good
I'm going to rate it right in the middle because some people think it's great and some don't. The East Indians in Abbotsford go here to eat, so yes it is very 'indian' and tends to be on the spicy side. They have a very large buffet selection of dishes, (many meat dishes) so if you want to try it out, go for a lunch buffet. Avoid the veg, never fresh enough. REAL homemade chai is no extra cost over regular tea so do ask for it if you like it. They are not super attentive, service can be slow. I think the food is great and traditional Northern Indian, but if you like anglo-indian food it's not for you. You will get better portions and cuts if you let an Indian order it, particularly for pickup orders. Maybe a bit racist (on their part), but entirely true.

Great Indian Food
February 13, 2014I have eaten here the last 3 times business took me to Abbotsford. If you go here it is for the food, not the ambience of the restaurant. The outside and inside of the restaurant are non-descript and maybe even a little dumpy. Service is good enough. The food, though, is excellent. Spicy and flavorful, just how I like it.... more

December 29, 2013The waitress talked down to us, as if we were all children. Though the place was empty, it took her at least 10 minutes to take our order. We noticed that the tables hadn't been washed in a while. All of us requested mild spice. Waitress thought we all wanted medium. She offered no apology for messing up our order.... more
