Wouldn't even release me out of already canceled contract during cancer treatments!

I signed up for a 1 year contract, with a 10 day cancelation term...that evening I went home and my husband expressed an interest in joing a gym WITH me...so I called the gym the very next day and told them the great news of my husbands interest, but that it unfortunatley meant I would be joing a gym elsewhere.
