Do not buy from these shysters!
I am writing this review on Sherwood Park Dodge to, hopefully, inform anyone who thinks dealing with them is a good idea. If I could give them negative numbers, I would but I guess a 1 will have to do. Please for, god sake, listen to the reviews online because, had I done that, I would of never done business with these guys and would have saved myself a lot of grief and disappointment.
My new car purchase was a total nightmare from the get go and just got worse as it droned on.
Condescending sales people that know very little about their product.
Sales people that immediately try to offload their responsibility, for the deal, by saying things like "this is how THEY do it" and "THEY do things like that", it's like they don't even work for Sherwood Park Dodge.
You spend a lot of money there and they can't even remember what you look like when you go to pick up your truck.
Lack of interest in resolving any issues.
They seem to always make a person wait, wait while your talking to the sales person, wait while he goes and sees what "THEY" will do, wait when you come to sign the papers, wait when you come to get your new truck, wait, wait, wait!
They NEVER call you back, EVER! It seemed like I was doing all the work while trying to purchase an new vehicle from them.
The sales person makes an appointment and then isn't there for the appointment.
The "hard sell" is happening as soon as you sit down in the office, I was asked if the "payment" was good with me approx. 6 times even after I told them that I didn't like the price of the truck.
The sales people do not listen to anything you say.
It's always "we're pretty busy" and "we've been swamped" whenever you talk to them but the dealership is empty!
The New Car Sales Manager just blows you off when you complain and pretty much doesn't do anything for you. Again with the distancing from the sales person, "oh he's not on my crew" or "He's new and doesn't know".
Very little interest in resolving any problems.
When you buy a NEW car it's supposed to be fun and exciting, Sherwood Park Dodge just couldn't care less what the customer experience is. Absolutely the worst dealership I have ever had the misfortune to buy a car from!!!!! I will NOT recommend this dealership and WILL NEVER go there again for anything! Please, if you see this, spread the word, I would hate to have anyone else get mistreated by these guys while trying to make a very major purchase!

dishonest and unprofessional salespersons and sales " manager " that only backs the lie !
made a deal on a vehicle here , from the beginning I requested that whatever price the sales person quoted me " included any extra dealer fees like a doc fee" " no problem" was the sales persons responce . so after a few days of phonecalls back and forth and a test drice a price was agreed to a deposit was paid and i was told the vehicle would be ready in 2 days . when i went to pickup the vehicle from sherwood dodge I was told i needed to go to the " finance office " even though i was not financing. i was told by the finance person that ther was a documentation fee that needed to be paid over and above the agreed price with the sales person and if i didnt pay it i would not get the Vehicle . she refused to even ask my salesperson about our agreement and when i went to his office to ask him he laughed at me and made an offensive comment regarding my appearance !
needles to say i did not buy from them and as it turns out got the same vehicle with some extra accessories for 2000.00 less from another dealer !
I did leave a voicemail for the owner who preaches his dealership is different and honest . he did not bother to return my call which shows me his claims are only about getting you in the door !
Typical Sleazeball Sales Tactics
I will never give Sherwood dodge my business again and I will never recommend them to anyone. I recently submitted an online trade-in appraisal to Sherwood Dodge. I gave them all the information for my 2009 Jeep 2dr, including the VIN. Was quoted a specific price range. When I made my way to the dealership, they wined and dined me in to a truck, but when it came time for my trade-in, they dropped they dropped the trade-in value of my Jeep by $3000. "Oops they said, that higher value was for a 4-door jeep. Not a 2-door." Just a ploy to get me in the door obviously... They continued to Jerk me around. Leaving to 'talk to the general sales mananger' sometimes leaving me alone for 45 minutes. Each time the salesman came back, he would say he "fought real hard for me, and got another $300 on the deal" Then assured me that was the best price possible. They also try to sell me an extended warranty (which I find out the next day the truck already had) I left, and came back the next day. Again, they jerked me around, leaving me alone in the salemans office, or out on the floor several times for 30+ minutes. Wouldn't bargain. Salesman whined and cried about their having such small margins they can't afford to give vehicles away blah blah blah...I then find out that the used Ram truck I wanted to buy had a fully transferable extended warranty, but they only brought it up to try and sweeten the deal. Only thing was there was less than a year left on it. Funny how they were willing to keep this to themselves the previous day and try and sell me warranty anyways. Scott Held from Sherwood Dodge has these horrible radio ads about how fair his dealership is. It is a complete lie. They use every car salesman trick in the book. I had originally purchased my Jeep at this same dealership when I was younger and in reviewing my purchase, I was definitely screwed over. Well fool me once, shame on me. But never again. I think I'll take my money to somewhere where they don't hire sleazeballs to make bunk deals to lure customers in.

My husband and I were looking around to buy a new truck, though we weren't set on a make just yet. We walked into Sherwood Dodge and were immediately greeted, went on a test drive and were shown all the bells and whistles of the truck.

Service was pretty good. The waiting room/area was amazing they have a little deli where you can get various munchables. If your vehicle is going to be a while you can even get a shuttle that'll take you home and even pic you up when it's ready.

So I bought a used car from them a while back because my wife worked there. Well they sold me a car that was clean no accidents etx. Well I asked to see the car facts. They showed me the facts. Which I didnt know but it was an incomplete car facts. Well the car had 7600 in dmg from an accident . according to scott was the cost of a hood. My ins company told me about the accident.
