Great place to see local Celtic music. Very busy on Friday nights, be prepared to wait for a table. Only tried the crab legs but they were delicious and very affordable. Had a few ciders and enjoyed the evening. Not sure about gluten free food, will update if I go back to eat.
With only one night in town and George street out of bounds due to a local festival,we headed here.The intention of having a few drinks and going else where for eats. The Guinness does take a long time to pour,but well worth the wait.

My wife and I spent an entertaining evening listening to local musicians playing Newfoundland folk tunes and other songs. The bar was jumping and the service was great. What more do you need when visiting the "rock".
