A hidden gem
August 16, 2013An amazing though small history-in-action museum. Well placed, at the first intersection on Scugog Island, just East of Port Perry. Interesting and unusual artifacts - some complete sets that you won't even see in larger museums! Located on Scugog Island, the Museum preserves and presents the heritage of Scugog Township. Buildings have been restored to reflect the mid-to-late 19th century, with realistic displays of the period.
