Real estate brokers and their assistants craving a carnivorous fix frequent this Alberni Street watering hole. 30-foot-plus ceilings are intense, but the reds are the draw. Full Cabernets and the wall-to-wall glass wine case are still the main attraction. Central to the spot's contemporary Pacific Rim twist on the hunting lodge is their all-female bartender crew.

A favorite lunch or after work spot, the food here is straight forward, tasty and seems to suit a wide range of tastes and appetites. Service is friendly and efficient. One of our favorite lunch spots.

Food is excellant never really had a bad meal here. Decor dark with lots of wood but very inviting. Service is always good.

Saltlik Steakhouse offers a cut above The Keg in terms of quality as well as price. Steaks are well seasoned and prepared, and can be accompanied by your choice of table-sized sides.
