Located at the tip of the trendy Ossington strip, this "little tapas bar" turns out small plates infused with "hints of Portugal and Spain" plus artisanal cheese and charcuterie; though critics complain it's "uneven" and "price points don't always work", fans counter dishes can be "delish" and the "endless choices of wine" don't hurt.
Ossington's Salt Wine Bar is all over Portuguese tapas, with shared dishes that include cheese, beef crudo, smoked salmon, steamed mussels, crispy calamari and charcuterie. Meats are cured in-house. The wine list is stocked with wines from Portugal, Spain and Italy. The rustic decor consists of reclaimed wood tables, chandeliers and a bar.
