One of our favourite places. The food is fabulous, the staff are excellent and ever the same faces, and the atmosphere is unique and intimate. Highly recommend.
Lunch today was the worst meal I have had in years! Spinach salad with crab cakes. Can't be too hard, can it? Very small blob of limp spinach drowned in some kind of dressing. Two overdone "crab cakes" barely larger in diameter than a toonie; and tasted more of spoiled tuna than crab. Couldn't finish any of it. $15.00? I think not. I won't be back.
I've been here a couple of time now. Every visit was memorable. My last visit was with my gf for a special occasion. She suffers from numerous food allergies so we phoned ahead to make sure she would be able to eat something. To our surprise they told us she could order anything on the menu she wanted and if it did have something she couldn't have in it that they would make it to order with her... more
