I'm glad Darren actually wrote about the curling part of this joint, since that was the one part of this ice palace that I didn't get to explore!

The Rideau Curling Club just underwent some renovations to brighten the place up a bit.

it's a great curling club for spectators and curlers as well. As soon as you walk into the facility there is plenty of seating to watch on the main level but there's also an upstairs level lounge which offers birds eye view seating.

Maintaining a strong rivalry with the Ottawa Curling Club on O'Connor street, Rideau is one of the oldest curling clubs in Ottawa.
