Know what you're embarquing on before you settle for Zyara. It's not a fast pace restaurant for people in a hurry....it's a place you go with friends for a 2-3-4 hour meal and fun. A tad on the noisy side but that's fine with me. The food is outstanding and there's a lot of it.. no one will walk out of there hungry... plus
We dined at this restaurant, a group of 15, on Friday, July 25th. Still a beautiful restaurant, but don't go as a group. Food was good, place was nice, not cheap ($300 food, drinks and tip for 4), AND not enough waiters, service was more than poor. Once the place got a little bit crowded, the waiter was nowhere to... plus
We were a group of 12 and the service was extremely slow. The food was good authentic lebanese food. A bit pricey but the decor is nice and you can smoke the traditional pipe outside on the terrasse under a cabana
Let me start by saying that I was born and raised in Lebanon, so I know good Lebanese food when I see it and taste it.
I took my cousin there for her birthday and what a treat it was!
Zyara delivers big time on the following:
Authenticity of the dishes (only restaurant that ever served me tabouleh as good...

So the first time I went to Zyara was a Sunday night for a party of 2. It was fantastic but didn't have much ambiance, this is obviously to be expected on a Sunday night. This time we went for my mother's birthday, party of 10 at 8 PM on a Saturday night. Let me tell you, the food was just as delicious as last time, but this time the place was rocking! They had a belly dancer that would do a 10... plus
Very good food.
Great service!
Very, very nice decor and ambiance.
Lamb was on the small side.
House wine was almost like water :-)
Will go back, very much enjoyed the experience!
The place is nice. The service is good . Loved the tapas . The bread is amazing from the oven to your plate! It' a little expensive but the food is refined! We were with Egyptian friends and loved it!
took 10 min. for the waiter to come get our order (It may be fine in some circumstances, but this particular time, we were hurried). 15 min. later, the waiter comes back to tell my girlfriend they did not have the fish that she ordered. She orders something else. 20 min. later, our dishes arrive. The food was very good. The waiter is like a robot, no smile, short responses, did not ask if... plus
Me and my wife where very impressed with the food quality. The wine choice was great.
Only issue is that the service was a little slow sometime throughout the evening.Try the degustation menu... It's a lot of food for the price. All is very good.
I have to start this review by saying that we were a large group, so I understand that things will take a bit longer than if we were just a table of four. That said, the evening really did not start off on a good foot and it got less impressive from there.
We were seated over 30 minutes after...

Great choices and very friendly staff nice entertainment touch was the hit of the evening. The menu degustation was an excellent suggestion
We found the place absolutely gorgeous and the service was good. We tried the degustation menu but were very disappointed. The starters are somewhat standard and the taste was similar to what you will get in your nearest Basha fast food restaurant: Hummus is hummus, taboulé is taboulé and salad is salad!
The pita bread is fresh and comes directly...

I arrived for dinner at 7 p.m. on a Sunday night. I didn't expect anything to spectacular and I must say I was extremely surprised. The food was delicious! The decor was authentic and modern all at once. The wait staff were all friendly and eager to answer any questions about the menu, or help make a few selections to share the food with others in your group. I will definitely be back.
I was disappointed there weren't more healthyier options. Lots of deep fried stuff that seemed like it had been re-fried! Took the sample menu and would definitely not recommend it.
We love Lebanese food and this one comes highly recommended.
Their menu is extensive, always something good to choose from. We always order their tapas, from tabouleh, hummus, garlic potatoes, grilled shrimps, octopus, grilled eggplants to their Shish Taouk, all very fresh and delicious!
We have yet to try their main dishes...will definitely visit this place again.
Been here many times for lunch and for dinner with just a few people or a big group and every time the food and experience has been excellent. This is one of the few restaurants I have been to where I can say the quality of the food is always consistently delicious. The ambiance is very reminiscent of Lebanon and all its Mediterranean beauty. The service is quick and efficient and the staff is... plus
Every single detail about this place is just gorgeous! It has this modern oriental set up that makes you feel very comfy while keeping it also very classy and elegant! Food is just amazing with a variety of healthy choices and real lebanese flavors!!
A little hard to find but when you find it, you don't want to leave.
Mamhoud was our waiter. Very nice and polite.
We took the Tasting Menu. We had so much, we brought it home. Lots of food.
Very good. Charming place, beautiful decor.
We loved it!
We went for lunch on Valentine's Day.
There were very few diners spread out in this huge place.
The decor is very nice. It probably looks even better at night.
The service was extremely slow and cold.
No advice of any kind on the food. For people not familiar with their food, the waiters should give suggestions or advices if...

Here I was with my boss from Toronto and my other boss from Switzerland. So a request was made for Lebanese food for lunch. Wow, the pressure was on since I am part Egyptian I had to make sure I found a restaurant worthy of the request! Thank God I did!

- The food is a real joke (5 mezza of 12 are ''okay'' but not great in ''menu dégustation'' ) 78$ for two :(

First thing we noticed when we entered the place is the decor. It is elegant, modern but still has that casa balance look to it! Since we made a reservation,we where quickly seated even if the restaurant was full. I was happily surprised when i saw that many lebanese and other arab families were dinning at the place.

A beautiful decor, Zyara amazed me since the first time I went. With a nice list of alcohol, the highest quality of Lebanese food, you can`t go wrong with Zyara.
Very pleasant evening. The decor, the food , the service, everything was perfect. I have already eaten in many lebanese restaurant in Montreal, bur Zyara stands alone on all levels. We were a party of four and our waitress suggested to us to take the group menu (39$ per person) which consist of 10 different mezza (small tapas) that we... plus
We love this place because of the vast choice of small plates at reasonable to good value and the impeccable freshness of the ingredients.
Service is superior with friendly, but professional and knowledgeable staff.

The food was pretty good and the service although long was very polite and professional. If your not in a rush it is nice and relaxing. Why only three stars?? In the center of the terrace they allow people to suck on these tabacco bongs that permeate everywhere. There was one customer (a lady) that smoked for 2 hours straight.... plus
Fancy way of repackaging the same meals found elsewhere. Food was "OK" .. nothing to drool over. The place is new so it's still nice, but there's much MUCH better Lebanese cuisine around the city. Over hyped and over priced.
One of the only Lebanese food places that actually taste like Lebanese food I have at home, the ambiance is also great and it's very easy to order. The servers are friendly and I would recommend it to anyone who wants an authentic Lebanese food experience.
I was hoping way more than what ive received in terms of food. i took the beef tartare and god that thing tasted like [--] in a can! the service was good and the restaurant was beautiful, but thats about it
Excellent Lebanese food , the service was outstanding and the decor is very modern ...
We had a very good experience there and we were very happy with our food .
I recommend this restaurant to everybody .
Great place and Nice service, sheesha boy named Mado made my night, toilets are clean and a really Nice terasse
As a Lebanese living in Montreal area, i can tell this newly opened restaurant offers a variety of dishes with homemade taste and authenticity. 5/5 for food taste
As for the prices, they fall between average to high but can be explained by the location (new hip sector of the dix30) and of course the quality.
Decor is 5/5 trendy,...

Wow ! Transported into another world. Spoiled with an uncommon level of service and attention. Delighted with the new tastes and discoveries of succulent Lebanese food.

Zyara is in a fantastic location. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a young inexperienced hostess (front of the house is key...) then we were seated on the terrace. After a short while we were offered a hot bread with olive oil.(very tatsy) the entree was Fatouche that was amazing!! great presentation. We ordered the shishtaouk table d'hôte. (The... plus
The decor has a mix of oriental and modern designs, sassy and simple at the same time. Their private room for special occasions or business is superb. The food is excellent, nicely presented and abundant. Home made bread and desserts are exquisite. The menu is quite diverse and can accommodate meat lovers, vegetarian, or others.

Delicious and very good service; a place to spend a great time as a group or in a couple. They have a big outdoor veranda with shisha. Their bread (which they give in abundance) and desserts are freshly made in house and their mezzes are delicious! It's very big with high ceilings so it doesn't feel crowded or overly loud.
We went to this newly opened Lebanese restaurant. The place is quite big to accommodate all kind of parties. We were 2 couples and got seated promptly.
The waitress did not explain the concept of sharing the mezzes (like tapas) so we just ordered individually and felt that we missed out when we saw what some other tables were doing....
