Thought I would try a travel zoo voucher. They didn't have my reservation, was seated in a crummy table ( although they did move us once something opened up.) The 120 dollar deal ended up being 200. All this for rubber chicken and overcooked salmon. The voucher said to bring your smart phone but they were unable to honor that. I had to search for the email and forward a screen shot after some... more
Went here for desert. Ordered a sticky toffee pudding and flourless chocolate cake.
The 2 arrived without any desert spoons when both of them are served with ice cream. I asked the server for desert spoon and let's just say that I waited until 3 qtr of the ice cream with the pudding were melted away and nothing came. So I had to walk up to the bar and asked for one. Not good.
The chocolate...

This is a nice quiet place to enjoy a fine meal with an amazing view. I would say this place is pricy but for the view and the food it's great. Being a prepared guy I managed to forget my nice cloths on the other side of the border and went in casual. I don't like to be underdressed at nicer restaurants but I messed up. Lucky they don't seem to have a dress code and sat us right away. We... more
What a lovely and romantic dinner. First off, the view is amazing. Floor to ceiling windows that lets you stare out at the falls. Reservations are recommended and make sure to ask for a window seat. Candles on the table give it a nice romantic vibe.
Our server was excellent. Checked up on us, changed utensils and plates as the evening went by, was friendly and offered recommendations.

Went here for our romantic evening out on our trip to Niagara Falls. Found a travelzoo special for a 3 course meal with tenderloin and two glasses of wine. Seemed like a decent deal and nice restaurant. First issue - they brought out the special menu and no steak, just salmon or chicken. We got one of each begrudgingly. First course, my wife got the salad and I got the soup. The salad was nice... more
Way oversold. For a 4 diamond restaurant I expected more. Much more. Let's start with our stepping off the elevator and immediately thinking we had taken a wrong turn -- we had walked into the buffet. This can't be right. So we took a U-turn but soon found out it WAS right. Windows is just off the buffet to the left.
We were early so we opted to get a drink at the bar. We saw a bar to our...

Reservation, reservation, and reservation. I got the best seats at the restaurant to view the falls, of cos through the windows. Food is fine. I like the farm to table concept. We actually liked the berry tart the most. This was my first dinner of my trip at the falls.
My wife and I came here our first night in Niagara. We stayed at the Sheraton on the Falls and got many recommendations from the hotel staff about the restaurant. We were more comfortable with the price because of the $40 off voucher they provided us with. We made a reservation online a few hours ahead and were seated immediately, even though we arrived 15 minutes early.
Since the restaurant...

When searching for top restaurants to eat at on the falls, Window by Jamie Kennedy was at the top. My husband and I were celebrating our one year anniversary and wanted something top notch. One thing that was weird was how close it was to the... more
The setting is splendid. View of the Falls, esp US, is excellent, Horseshoe Falls, a bit far away. Window tables for 2 are plentiful.
Famous fries did not disappoint.
Service was attentive and thoughtful. I wasn't thrilled with my wine choice. When our server asked how I liked it, for once I was honest, and he offered to replace it at no extra cost, with no quibbles.

The overall experience at this restaurant was good. The service was great, our waiter, Terry, was extremely friendly and polite.
I ordered the salad with beets and blue cheese to start. It was really tasty. The blue cheese isn't overwhelming, and if you want you can take some off if you're not a huge fan like me.
For my main course I had the chicken. One had stuffed apricot which was good and...

Came here twice, both times I dined with my girlfriend and both times we left incredibly happy. I had the salmon and she had the tenderloin followed by a chocolate cake for dessert. The salmon was moist and tenderloin by far the most TENDER of all the loins (that joke was a must!). All I can say is this is a MUST if you're looking for a classy restaurant with amazing staff and even better food.
Mrs. AfterTaste and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We made sure to make the reservations for a Sunday night so we could enjoy the beautiful fireworks over the waterfalls. We ordered the Roasted B.C. SableFish and the Beef Tenderloin. Both were presented and tasted excellent, you can taste the freshness from the farm to table cuisine. For dessert we topped it off with a... more
View is amazing, staff was great, and the food was to die for. My girlfriend and I both had the chicken two ways it was one of the best meals I've ever had at a restaurant. The squash and chorizo soup was very very tasty, if you have a lot of extra cash I mean a lot cause this is fine dining and it costs a pretty penny. Other than the price the place was great
I live in NYC, so I try a lot of unique foods, but dining at Windows was quite the foody experience! They really know how to bring super interesting flavors together! We tried the Squash Soup with Chorizo, The Lump Crab California Roll and the Roasted Sablefish. OMG. I never thought I would ever taste any fish THAT good. The soup was just out of hand, what a smart move mixing the squash with... more
Although some items are slightly overpriced, Windows quality and taste is superior to other restaurants in the area. Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered the chicken liver mousse, lamb shank, and salmon.
The fries are overrated but they were fine.
Very enjoyable meal and lovely view.
Jamie Kennedy's restaurant was absolutely fantastic with tough choices as to what to order as all was amazing from appetizers to the extensive wine list. A definite do over for us. What a view with a super full moon to boot.
Hey diners - I had my wedding dinner here (party of 8) last weekend and we were totally, completely impressed and thrilled with the outcome. I guess we have mixed feeling about Windows, in Niagara Falls.
First, the service was excellent. This is more like a Las Vegas restaurant (fine cuisine, different tastes) then your average restaurant in a hotel.. I would not recommend it for families either, it really is more "an adult restaurant". The view was great, looking over the falls; the atmosphere...

Would not allow our 9 and 11 year old into the restaurant eventhough we arrived at 6:00 right when it opened! they wouldn't admit to it ofcourse!
What a view! The food was extraordinary - from the Tomato Bisque and the beet salad to the sea scallops - each one of the 4 in our party were delighted with the food. We were still talking about how much we enjoyed the meal and the experience the next day.
There was a woman dressed in black (sorry I missed her name) who checked in with us regularly, the bartender (Corey, I think) offered to...

My guest didn't care for the duck appetizer. Four very small, lightly cooked slices of duck with very bland taste.
There were a group of six, we took our time ordering, had drinks first, food was excellent, but took 45 minutes, which we though was alittle long. View was awesome, but unfortunately lights on falls were not working that night, so that spoiled some ambiance, could up a notch on decor, add some colors to brighten up room.
Our service was impeccable and the local region farm to table food was delicately balanced and delicious. An out of character but promising sounding "ice cream sandwich" dessert shared by my wife and I was the only disappointment. It was simply more overpowering and less refreshing than expected.
I am a big fan of Jamie Kennedy's being a Culinary Graduate. I have met him on many occasions and he is just such an easy going person. He really believes in his philosophy of the farm to fork concept. I really enjoyed his restaurant in Toronto, Gilead. We took our graduating class there for a lunch. And it was... more
This is our second visit to Windows restaurant. Not only is the food delicious, but the restaurant has a spectacular view. The food is delicious, and the bar is well stocked. I've dined at Windows twice now, once with my boyfriend for our anniversary and a second time with a friend. Lovely view, restaurant seriously hyped by the management of the Sheraton hotel. Our hotel stay package came with a coupon, offering what we thought was a substantial discount. The view was incredible (I know, I am repeating myself, but that's intentional). Presentation and service all first rate.

This is average at most. We had scallops which were good and the lamb shank which was over seasoned and covered with a dark curry and cinnamon sauce and whole almonds. The bread was the best part. We arrived at 1 pm, and the entire breakfast section had been shut down, effectively halving the selection. Unfortunately, we have to say that we were disappointed in our overall experience. We felt like our waiter was rushing us a bit, wanting us to order our entire meal upon arrival when we wanted to take it course by course to enjoy the view. We couldn't have beenoe delighted with this restuarant . We were looking for a romantic evening with great food, great wine, great atmosphere and a view of the Falls. It totally lived up to our hopes and exceeded our expectations!
The food is very interesting and tasty. Unique flavor combos and superior quality local products in the meals. The local Niagara/Ontario wine list is impressive and diverse. Was looking forward to a wonderful dinner at Windows by Jamie Kennedy.
- difficult to find

Windows is very classy with exceptional views. They do not have a children's menu but accommodate children by offering child friendly appropriate-sized food. Noodles with butter worked well with our 10 and 7 year olds.

The food was marginal, my wife's meal was poorly prepared with little attention to detail, the pork was not cooked properly and the beans had a tough skin, like they had been boiled in salted water to rehydrate them. First, the view as well as the service is excellent.
We ate there 2 times last year. Aside from the stunning view and excellent service the food wasof the same quality.
The food on this visit was lacking greatly.
Quality was lacking, served almost room temperature, Not desireable for seafood. I dont mind paying their Price, but, for that price not sure i will be returning
My time was short in Niagara falls, however, really enjoyed my experience. A special note to Terry our server. We had outstanding service and a personality that really made our experience at Windows fantastic and memorable!
Had a lovely dinner with my mom. Food was great, high level of creativity, especially for Niagara Falls. Decor and ambiance were great, and they were even accomodating of my six month old and stroller (but make sure to advise before arrival).
had a group of 11 for dinner. multiple menu modifications. all handled perfectly.
Seafood ordered was cold, flavours did not come through. Server not trained to know where foods came from, could not answer if farmed or wild rabbit, etc.We were there with chefs from the USA and had been to Canoe a few nights earlier. There was no comparison, Canoe wins hands down.
Came across as a tourist trap, OK, but not 5 star. Too many things were not perfect.
This beautiful dining room with a spectacular view was overpriced and dissapointing when it came to the food. Although the ingredients were top notch, the mains missed the mark mainly because they were under seasoned. The salmon, cooked to perfection and fresh, was bland. The scallops were terrific. Appetizers were good, but a little boring.
Some of the food selections were not to my liking becsause of the garlic content, but i did enjoy my night. Wines were good and nice to see local wines being served. Ideal for a special occassion.
Three of us had a very good business dinner here that was only somewhat dampened by the fact that the kitchen was INCREDIBLY slow. I have eaten here twice in the past and never had that happened, but it did mean we waited almost 40 minutes for our main course. Our main courses were lovely, however: scallops -- incredible; steak -- must eat; and duck was "the best".
Well received, with outstanding view of the Falls. Food and preparation superb, will return when in the vicinity. I must comment on your complimentary vale service for parking, which makes it very convenient for out of city visitors.
We celebrated our 5th Anniversary with dinner at Windows. We both enjoyed our meals to the very last bite. Every bite on the plate was such a perfect combination of flavours. I had scallops over polenta (I wish I could remember the flavours),and my husband had the 'pork & beans' such a huge, a perfectly tender cut. We finished with the flourless cake, and wish we had ordered two, instead of... more
Great food excellent service our waiter was Christof he was fantatsic and very knowledgeable particulalry about the wine.Ask about portion size as one or two were quite large
Entree was pleasant but lacking flavor. Both main dishes were luke warm. Although my husband asked for his tenderloin steak to be medium, it was totally overcooked to the point where the meat was dry and stringy as if it had been cooked previously and reheated. The same goes for my lamb shank which while flavorsome was barely warm on the outside, warmer near the bone suggesting reheating in a... more
Start to finish. The food was fantastic, service was engaging and the view was made complete by the weekend fireworks display.
As a long-time devotee of jamie kennedy's restaurants in Toronto, it seemed an obvious choice to try his restaurant in the falls when needing to be there for a conference. To sum up the experience - the restaurant is similar to his Toronto restaurants in name and concept only. It as if he provided the recipes and never checked in to ensure their proper execution. It would be easy to look past... more
The food was great. We really enjoyed ourselves. Our waiter was very friendly.
The beef tenderloin exceeded expectations and the Nova Scotia scallops were delicious. Overall this restaurant was good, however the waiter brought me salmon after I clearly ordered lamb for my entree and asked "do you mind having salmon instead"? My husband and I chose to have our very small wedding reception at Windows, and we couldn't be happier. This restaurant attracts people for the stupendous view of both falls but the food and service are great as well. Prices Are not cheap, but in line with the quality and location.
Windows by Jamie Kennedy was absolutly incredable. The wine list was great and the food even better. I reccomend anyone to come out and try this gem. Also it has the best veiw in the Niagra reigon. The serving staff was also accomidating.
My wife and I went to Niagra's only "4-star" restaurant on the last night of our vacation for a special dinner together. Restaurant had a great view of the falls. Make sure you book for sunset so you can watch the lights being turned on after dark. Service was good. Our server was attentive. Food was not that great. I was expecting more, but found the duck was a little chewy and overall the food was bland. I have definitely had better for the price we paid.
Great choice to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. I had the lamb shank. It was a generous portion and delicious. Barely had room for dessert so shared a creme brûlée that was to die for. The service was excellent and view was amazing. Make sure you ask for a window seat. Will go back for sure!
My wife and I had dinner at Windows and were very happy with our meal. Portions were generous, food was very good and service was very friendly. Plus a window with a view. The restaurant was accommodating with last minute changes in our reservations. The food was tasty with creative plating that really impressed our guests. My only complaint was the service.
