Disappointed
August 22, 2014Hotel wasn't very busy and we were put in the older section of the hotel. Very expensive for the size of the room and dated condition with a slight funky smell. We had an excelent long time stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and supportive.
The rooms are fresh renovated (Southside) and the securety with the new fence is higher than
ever. Would stay here anytime.

Wouldn't stay again

Room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, so much so that I woke up with red puffy eyes (and I used to smoke.. I'm not one of those ewwww smoke people)
Walls were so thin I could hear all the conversations all night by my neighbours. Uncomfortable beds and pillows.

Never again
September 27, 2013I have stayed in hotels in many countries and in places where I haven't even spoken their languages. This by far was the worst of all of them. Very bad
August 19, 2013Very poor services. Very poor services..room not cleaned, with clean fresh linen. I stayed for four days and it was horrible. Tried calling the front desk and no-one would pick up. Only offered and took of one day off the bill. It seemed they housekeeping staff issues and made customers feel guilty for their inability to have proper staff available.

Good room
July 12, 2013I stayed here for one night and was pleased with the room and the hotel in general. I found the grounds to be well kept. The staff were friendly and the price was reasonable. Very good restaurants, and lots of them within a mile, some you can walk to.

We pulled in to the Wetaskiwin Alberta Super 8 at 1:00 AM. The desk clerk took a very long time to check us in even though we were the only ones there. the she announced we were in the South building and she didn't know which door would work to get in.

Definately nothing fancy
July 23, 2012I stayed in Wetaskiwin while working in the area. The Super 8 was an alright hotel. The room was updated, had a nice tv, mini fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable and the room was super clean. The shower was terrible though. Slow to drain and was barely luke warm. Not a bad place overall.
