Food was mediocre, desert was so so, the portions were small.
Service we had was great from a upbeat vivacious lady.
Price was too high for what we got. If we had a choice we would not go there.
I attended a business dinner at the Westwinds restaurant. The hostess was polite, promptly seated us and didn't seem to mind some of our foolishness in taking our seats. The decor really isn't anything special. It is clean and seems to have been recently redecorated.
The waitress was there almost immediately and took our drink order. The beers came our...

Coming off the highway (vacation road trip) too tired, but hungry - this restaurant looked easy and convenient.
First impression - not so great. It seemed dated (early 90s) and dingy, though clean. And why were there so few other diners? Not promising...or so we thought.
Two things totally changed our impression - warm, friendly, professional service - and, even...

I found this place by accident when i spent 3 days in Pembroke recently. It was suggested that we go to the Hotels restaurant for breakfast.... it was very quiet and I had my doublets but when the male arrived... I was very impressed ........Two Thumbs up!!!
Nice ambience. Food is well presented and very tasty. Servers are very personable and seem to enjoy working here.
In the past we ate many times at this restaurant. We loved Saturday nights when they had Jazz night. But that all went away. We also liked the Sunday buffet but have not been there for years. The price had just been too high so we avoided the buffet even though we enjoyed it.
My daughter changed all that on...

Great Jambalaya and Caesar salad for dinner. We also enjoyed our hot buffet breakfasts ever morning.
Love this restaurant! Chef and his team are great. Meghan and her gals are absolutely amazing! They make me feel right at home everytime I am there. They are sharp, attentive, and very accommodating. I pretty much eat there every day when I am in town. They know my drink and what I like to order. They make me feel... more
We had a terrible dinner experience with the west winds restaurant on Valentines evening for dinner, of all times it had to be at this time. The service sucked big time, waitress was very disorganized, rude when we would ask her a question, she got mad and just brushed us off to another waitress, their attitude was c@!p. Some of us... more
I’ve wanted to go to the new Westwinds for a while now, but I have to say that I should’ve waited longer. Like long enough for them to improve because in my opinion, that’s what they need to do.
Value: We went on a Thursday evening which offers a “half-price” menu. What I didn’t realize was that when we ordered...

Had lunch here with my baby and mom. She had the apple grilled cheese and I had the meatloaf sandwich with roasted tomato soup. It was all very good and service was excellent.
We were there on for their Wed. night pasta special, which is a very good deal. The quality of the food was also quite good,
I have been to this restaurant many times when i'm travelling up that way, it has always been good food and great service, it has recently(6 months ago??) gone through changes, a make-over, and a staff change, all the older staff they had i assume have been let go, and now have a younger look staff in there, this resaurant... more
May I start by saying, I had heard a lot of bad reviews more then good on this restaurant, but I had to try it for myself and I'm glad we did, our dinner consisted of pork tenderloin tips with red wine gravy with mushrooms & onions and the prosciutto pork tenderloin, all our dinners were amazing. Would defiantly would... more
I have been here before, all on business, and will be again. That said, when it comes to dinner, there isn't anywhere else I would think of eating than Westwinds. The servers are ALWAYS professional and polite, and have awesome attitudes (even when a patron asks a really dumb question about a particular pork sandwich), and have made this particular... more
Breakfast was poor. Coffee not good, never had french toast like this before. Thin, soggy bread. Staff very friendly.
good food, good wine & empathy from staff when I had a "moment" as was the one yr anniversity of becoming a widow.
I have been to the Westwinds for brunch many times and comparing it to last year's menu and service, this place has won 1st place. It has become a very personable place, where even the chefs are very friendly and welcoming. The food has taken on more of a gourmet twist and the flavours are excellent. I found the menu... more
There is new management at the Best Western Westwinds Restaurant and we were concerned we might no longer enjoy their Sunday brunch. Crisp bacon (so many places undercook it), nice scrambled eggs, and meatballs, plus fresh fruit, and red velvet cake were my choices. All was very good. The rest of our group had ham, sausages, French toast, pancakes, mashed... more
Booked a reservation for 5:00pm Valentine's Day to celebrate anniversary. Arrived on time to find out that restaurant didn't open until 6:30pm. You would think that the person taking the reservation would have known what time seating was on that day. I had even phoned to confirm our booking with the restaurant manager 2 days later and nothing was said... more
The food is great and the ambiance is inviting. Prices a little higher than the rest of the local market, but so is the quality.
I have been here a few times and each time has been a disappointment! Food is bland and plain. Service is okay.
Appetizer was amazing, shrimp fried with mushrooms. Dinner was okay. Ordered a "Bloody Ceaser" as my drink, it was made with tomato juice, instead of clamato juice. Left it at the table, it was horrible.
I stayed at the hotel for a week and had my breakfast there everyday. It was excellent each time and the staff was great. I would go again.
I felt that the staff was trying to close the place while I was trying to enjoy a drink and watch the hockey game. They started putting away everything and started using the vacuum which made it hard to hear the small tv at the end of the bar. Won't be back anytime soon.
nice atmosphere...great food and service, would return again
Very nice restaurant, very clean, excellent service. The food is always very good, I have been there many times over the years. The deserts are excellant, and a large selection. You can't go wrong eating here.It is located in the Best Western Hotel.
This restaurant offers great food and a quiet enjoyable atmosphere.
We enjoyed a great pizza done to perfection. Lots of other choices on the menu that we had enjoyed on other occasions - such as the weekend buffets. You need to try them for sure. Huge selection of fresh desserts and we enjoyed several of them with coffee.
Have been enjoying the Westwinds Restaurant's food and service for over 20+ years.
Food is always great and service with a smile.
On our last visit we enjoyed the dinner buffet. The assortment was great and something for all taste buds. The dessert table was incredible wit all that you could possible wants for the sweet tooth!

We were visiting friends in Pembroke and they recommeded that we go to West winds which has long been one of their favourite restaurants in town. We're very glad we took their recommendation! The food was exceptional and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We both had steaks which were tender and cooked perfectly. The house wine was also... more
The food was terrible. Over priced, over cooked, dried left out there forever. I don't think the temperature is even up to code to be honest, especially at the buffet. The food was drastically over priced! No bang for your buck. Service was ok to say the least. And they charge for absolutely everything. We stayed at the hotel, I... more
We went to Westwinds For Brunch. What a fabulous selection of hot foods and salads.
The desserts were the best. There was no way my husband or I could leave hungry. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff is extremely friendly.
A party of 6 with a bill totalling $150.
And the waitress/manager argue with me when I complained about being charged $2.50 for soft drink REFILLS.
Nothing special about the food..... go elsewhere and save a buck.
