Nice and convenient place.

This hotel is very close to the airport and restaurants in Richmond. Remember to join the SPG membership at the front desk. Then you can enjoy the free bottle of water in the room and also free wifi. FYI: Parking is not complimentary so street parking could be an option. We have parked at the street near the storage without any issue.

One night stay to attend concert

We only needed a room for one night; however I would have liked to stay another day to enjoy the hotel! This is the hotel for you if would like to come to Vancouver to see a concert (or other event) and fly out the next day.

Remote of tv is broken, you have to press it very hard just to purchase 1 movie. When we are about to check-out, they charge us for 2 movies. I explained it to them about the remote control and when they checked it they see that the other movie is only 5 mins, but still they charged me for it. There's no supervisor at the front desk to resolve this.

Very convenient location

Nice hotel, friendly staff. When the tv in our room didn't work they had to move us to a different room ( because of the inconvenience they comped our entire parking fees for the week - $140). Overall a very nice experience.

Booked Westin wall for a stop over after flying in from Maui. I booked there because they had s lounge. Was disappointed when we got there before midnight and it was closed. The room was great. Beds so comfortable and bedding amazing. There was complimentary bottles of water and robes.

Overall good, plan on driving for food and fun

Great hotel, friendly staff. The area is undergoing some major development. The area restaurants were primarily Chinese, plan on driving to find food/entertainment/etc. The onsite restaurant, The Apron, was good and very quiet on a Saturday night.

Hotel itself is very new and clean, both the front staffs and restaurant staffs are always pleasant and helpful. I love the bedding and everything about the room. We had a wonderful, relaxing, comfortable stay at the hotel.

I have stayed in several different Westin before, this is the best I have ever stayed. It is better than any Westin in the U.S. They have very welcome staff and nice room. The front desk staff in Westin Pasadena CA is so arrogant and unfriendly. Every Westin should learn good things from this one.

Great stay but be sure to understand the charge

The stay was great. There is nothing within walking distance. However, a few minutes drive will get you to No. 3 road where you can find a lot of restaurants. Not an issue at all. The only thing I found annoying is the charges, bottle of water $6, parking another ~$12, internet $12.95, local call $1/min. It kinda of add up.

We stayed for only one night but thought this hotel was pretty good for the price we paid. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we loved the beds! They were very comfortable. We ate at the restaurant too and had the best yam fries we'd ever had.

The rooms, decor, and service were all up to snuff compared to other Westins.

The gym location is terrible, however. You have to walk through a convoluted passage of stairs and hallways to reach the gym/pool. One of the hallways got downright creepy at one point...Really poor design and planning.

Also the club level breakfast was poor compared to other Westins.

Our third stay and this time we got a southeast corner room facing the budget hotel. I was a little bummed since I enjoyed watching the Sky Train come and go and planes line up for landing. But that worked out, since the Richmond Night Market was going on. The music carried over and when you are trying to get a toddler to sleep, quite distracting.

I want to commend [...], the front desk person who checked us in. she was personable, helpful and truly interested in what we needed. she not only recommended a good restaurant but also prepared driving instructions. This Westin opened just before the olympics and is a new property. I've stayed a few times and now offers self parking. My favorite is the huge shower it makes me want to renovate when I get home.

The hotel stay was pleasant and the rooms are rather clean. Despite being close to the airport we could not hear the planes flying in although we saw them from the 8th floor facing north. It was a decent view but not spectacular. If you travel by the metro (Canada Line), it is about a 7 minute walk from the hotel.

This hotel is great if you are a business traveler. Very nice, clean, amazingly comfortable beds for sure (all the other hotels we stayed at could have taken some lessons from them on this point). Brand New location so everything is in great shape. If you don't mind staying outside of Vancouver, you can't beat their price. Not a big deal if you have a car with you. Beautiful hotel, understaffed resturant

We dined in the hotel and had the "Dine out Vancouver" special. The presentation, food, and staff were amazing BUT the resturant is VERY understaffed. Our meals took twice as long as they should have. Breakfast the next morning was worse. If they had more staff, they'd get more stars! Make sure to add $30.00-$35.00 to the room price to cover the valet parking.

This is a very nice, new, facility, with easy access to the Canada Line light rail, which is a 20 minute ride to downtown Vancouver. Restaurant needs to work out the kinks, and access to the entrance is very confusing, but otherwise, the hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are very nicely appointed. I would stay there again.
