Nice Hotel

We stayed here overnight while we visited for Oktoberfest. The hotel was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a quality sleep in Waterloo

Nice comfortable hotel

This was a good hotel with clean comfortable rooms and nice amenities. Hotel restaurant was very good. I choose this hotel because it was one of the stops of the shuttle to the Toronto airport.

A Great Stay

The staff was very helpful and bowed to my every need. The rooms was clean and had all the amenities a person could want. the walk in shower was fantastic and gave me some ideas for my own project. The exercise room had the latest equipment, I only wished I had more time to use it.

Clean and affordable

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. There is quite the journey to get to restaurant as it is on the other side of the inn.

Waterloo Inn - great hotel

This hotel was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downfall was that the sheets were not great quality. Overall it was a great hotel and I definitely would stay again!

Nice hotel, pricey and miss the shuttle service

We were willing to overlook the fairly high price for the room, because on previous visits, we were offered free shuttle service to the theatre. Very upset to find that service is now only available to corporate clients. Will choose a lower priced hotel next time to compensate for the cost of transportation to the theatre. Sadly.

This hotel is strangely designed with extremely long walks between the front desk and elevator and then from the elevator to the room I was given. For me, this was problematic. Disappointing

We stayed in this hotel as my husband was attending business meetings in their conference area. While the bathroom was immaculate, the rest of the hotel room was not. The coffee cup that was in our room had lipstick from a previous guest. The shower needed to be cleaned better.

Otherwise enjoyed our stay. The weather was not that great. But the television was huge which made for a great night of watching hockey. The staff was very busy but said hi to us.

I chose the hotel to be near Waterloo town center and university area, and it was perfect.

Was outdated and in great need of repair.

Although I had reserved the room for three people (receipt on hand), front desk clerk gave me a hard time about offering free breakfast for all three people. The walls and doors of the hotel were filthy and required paint and repair. The room itself also required some updating. Stayed 5 nights

I was in Waterloo to take a course at the university so I needed a quiet place to stay without a lot of frills. This fit the bill. My room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed using the complimentary breakfast coupons.

I generally don't take the time to write reviews, but in this case I thought I would have liked it if someone had warned me. To say we were not impressed with this hotel would be an understatement. Weekend in Waterloo.

Overall the room suited our needs. I however found the pillows extremely soft, my husband and son found them just right. The room heating/cooling unit kept waking me up during the night, even with the temp. set low. So if you're going to any hotel, remember to take ear plugs. Staff were very pleasant.

Older hotel but well kept - Good for a few nights

This is an older hotel but it is pretty well kept. Only issues we had is that the shower leaked around the shower head and there was no bathroom fan. Pool and hot tub were very clean but there was not many beach towels on the rack.

They have a remarkable restaurant called "Rushes" which I rate highly for creative menu which is limited but very interesting and appealing. When we arrived, we were lucky there were no line ups and the bellboy had our luggage in our room before we were finished registering. Good choice in Waterloo

The Waterloo Inn is in good proximity to the university. The hotel is quiet and very clean and the rooms are well appointed - everything works! We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was good and competetively priced.

Very positive experience; staff very well-informed, pleasant and courteous.Food prices were quite high, both bar and restaurant, but staff friendliness and competence helped one forget this.

Great Hotel

We stayed at the hotel for a party in one of the conference rooms and the stay was great. The checkin was quick, the room very clean and nice. The party included dinner and I assume the hotel catered it, the food was excellent. I would recommend this hotel. Since we were only there one night I am not sure of dining options or attractions in the area but I would recommend the hotel.

We spent a weekend at this hotel. The decor was very tired, the front desk staff came across as lethargic and argumentative. To top it off, this seems to be a destination for youth hockey teams and university or high school gatherings. Friendly and fun.We were there to visit family at the university. Staff was great and we felt the service great and green. Although we had little time to spend there if the occasion warrants it we would stay there gladly. The pool was wonderful for relaxation as was the sauna and whirlpool. The Waterloo Inn was a quality and professional experience. The staff was very helpful and had time to provide personal service. For example, helping us sync up with the free wireless internet service.

Good Comfortable Rooms.Huge beds.The only thing that irked me is the spacing of the toilet and the tub.While sitting on the toilet your legs were crammed against the bath tub.Free internet was very apprecaited.
