Mother's Day get together brought my sisters and my mother's to a luncheon on that day. Reservations are a must if you want to guarantee a seat on a specific time for a function. Its a quaint setup with small area for a few tables dressed with white table cloths. Salutations for employing a "chef" . Not sure if they... more
Another one for the books! Try the polish style crepe! Love this place all around!the service is always great, and the food is exceptional. The atmosphere is also perfect for a nice dinner with friends!
An outstanding, elegant, place to dine. Tasty, exciting, produce, boasting of organic origins and locally produced.
Interesting crepe options as well as daily specials.
A fine wine list to satisfy the most skeptic wine lover.
Well informed servers and a warm buzz about the intimate space will ensure your evening is one of the most pleasant ever.

I called before they opened and a lady picked up and asked what do I want ? Very rude and poor customer service. As a new customer I would not recommend this place just based on that experience. This restaurant is very overrated and much better food can be found around town. Manager enjoyed raising her voice and arguing with... more
This is my favourite restaurant in KW area. The food is fresh and local and the service is friendly and fast. The value considering the quality is really good as well. It is a small but very unique atmosphere in a great little area of Kitchener. I have been here many times and will keep going back.

A small, simple restaurant with quality food, somewhat slow service. This was our second time here. There are about 10 tables. We had lunch there, arrived just before noon. We were served promptly in a personable, friendly manner. The menu is not expansive; some appetizers, salads, main courses mainly crepes with a few other entrees. Dessert crepes are served as... more
My husband and I recently popped into the Village Creperie for breakfast. Not knowing quite what to expect, we were happy to see that it was small, clean, and cozy. The food was exceptional and full of taste! I had the eggs benny crepe and my husband tried the dianne. The hollandaise sauce is delicious! It's a little pricey but... more
Last night my wife and I ate at the village Creperie for dinner. Our meal was exceptional and the service was great. I have been here once or twice with a large party and never had a problem with anything. The staff is friendly and personable unlike the robots you get at other establishments. My wife and I quite enjoy... more
This place really did have potential because the chef is pretty good and the gluten free options are great.
I've been here 3-4 times before and besides the food being very light and expensive, haven't had an issue.
I recently came in for a friend's birthday party and the waitress (who was actually the owner) immediately started spewing off menu...

I ordered the saumon et moutarde. It had the taste and spiciness of fresh mustard and a huge steak of salmon wrapped in a crepe. Simple accompanying salad. Portions were good (not stuffed, not hungry either). Quality ingredients, not dressed up, that lets the flavour or each ingredient come through.
Go if you like quality food for a reasonable price....

Really yummy! We have several dietary restrictions and this venue was completely accommodating. Not overly expensive, cosy atmosphere, nice location. I highly recommend it and I plan to return.
We had a girls day @ The BelmontVillage and stopped in for lunch. We were all pleased with our delicious food and the atmosphere of the little bistro was lovely!
Went with a friend and was blown away!!
After browsing the adorable Belmont Village we looked in to several of the other restaurants and decided on the 'Village Creperie'.
Walked in to an impeccably clean and beautifully decorated restaurant. The menu was simple but fabulous. After some Prosecco both my friend and I decided on the 'Salmon et moutarde' and...

I'm not sure what to say other than delicious dinner crepes and desserts! Atmosphere is much nicer inside than I thought it would be based on the exterior of the restaurant. Service was great as well! Price I found to be a bit high but the great food made up for it. Our dinner for 4 was $140 but that... more
Right next to Big John's subs another favourite of mine is this little piece of heaven. Many varieties of Crepes with good service and friendly staff and reasonable prices. A nice place to go on a weekend for nice meal.
This is a great little place to have a nice evening out. It's small, it has good food, it's quiet. It's not exactly the best place to bring the kids.
The food here is very well executed. I've tried most of the entree menu and it's all very well done. The secret here is the specials. I never order from...

Village Creperie is a wonderful neighbourhood restaurant that is well worth the visit. We have dined for dinner, lunch and Saturday breakfast several times and have never been disappointed. Food is always creatively prepared and well executed. It's always a surprise to read the features listed on the chalkboard. This family owned diner has the best salads and crepes in... more
We have been going to this little jewel since it opened. Family owned.
Never fails to impress and always dependable for a wonderful meal.
Salads could not be any fresher then if you picked the ingredients and made it yourself.
Their crepes are buckwheat and if you have any sensitivity to gluten this is the place for you.

This little place is nicely tucked away in Belmont Village -- best breakfast in the area, a fabulous place!
This spot is such a treasure. They are meticulous in the food that they serve and they have marvelous specials that are always a hit. This spot is great for people who are vegetarian or who need to eat gluten free. Not sure that anyplace else in the city can say that. I've had both breakfast and dinner and loved... more
Fantastic chef and service - had an incredible special valentines day menu last year, some of the best food i've ever tasted. Good wine and ambiance - highly recommended!
This place is a tree hugger special. Very small inside and very snooty, but the crepes and other food is good. Price is on the high side but it's in a nice area. Not as good as crepes in Quebec but pretty much the only ones in this area.
We have been back several times for breakfast/brunch at this little creperie in the heart of the Belmont Village. We have loved it each time for its unique menu, personable service, and french bistro like atmosphere. My favorite item continues to the Crepe Dianne. They are also very accommodating for the little ones too. Yes the wait can be a... more
I've been a few times, I usually go because it's close to where my wife and I live. I find that the food quality/temperature is highly dependent on how busy the place is. The first couple times I went the food was very good but that may be because it was not so busy, the last 2 times that I've... more
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner last night at the Village Creperie. With room for only 30 diners and an upscale decor, the restaurant reminded us of many experiences we have had in Europe. The service was courteous, friendly, and efficient... with the restaurant going to extra lengths to expedite our meal since we arrived late to squeeze... more
Had the 'sunday night' dinner from chef Brandon this past sunday. What a talented guy - i'll let the pics speak for themselves. This was launch with a bang with 4 serious courses. The subtlety of the flavours were very impressive with the swoosh of curry for the perfectly done pork belly, to the wasabi mayo on the also perfectly roasted and rare striploin and potato pave, and the starter was... more
This is not the first time I have been out for dinner at the Creperie. I wish I lived closer but it's worth the drive from Toronto to visit friends and be able to have such a great dinning experience. Everytime I am in town (waterloo) I am always going to eat at this place. The atmosphere is casual yet... more
Have been here many times before and usually stick with my favorite menu items but today I had the special pulled pork and it was unbelievable. The BBQ sauce was over the top. Thankfully they provided finger bowls.

Village Creperie is a super charming little restaurant in Kitchener where you can find a taste of Brittany. This place specializes in galettes, which is a type of French savoury buckwheat flour pancakes. Everything here is made with fresh and organic ingredients, and you really can taste the difference.
Of course, we ordered galettes (buckwheat crêpes) for lunch. My friend opted for poulet...

Food was excellent with a great variety of crepes and other housemade items. All ingredients are organic and mostly local. One of our group was celiac and was pleasently surprised by the gluten-free choices. This is a must visit for terrific food, beautiful decor and friendly service.
The service at this small location can sometimes be a bit slow but such is the nature of a low-key restaurant that usually doesn't have numerous staff on hand. That being said, the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.
The food is excellent and the daily specials always have something new to offer.
The ambiance is quaint since the venue...

Although this place was featured in the local paper it did not live up to the hype. One waitress for a full house + bar seating. Could be good, but staff... more
There are not many places in Kitchener-Waterloo that serve crepes.
Even were there many, I would still go back to the Village Creperie.
When we walked in the door we were delighted to see art on the walls, nice tablecloths and place settings at every table, even a little plant beside each salt and pepper shaker.
The crepes were wonderful. They were also square. I had never seen a square crepe...

OMG ...This is authentic french cuisine!. The wine selection is also top notch. This is a great place to bring your date. It is a little hard to find...look for the sun life tower and you will be only a couple blocks away.
While I appreciate the organic ingredients and upscale, breezy feel of the Village Creperie, the food is nothing special. The crepes are usually well constructed, light and perfectly cooked, but the fillings tend towards bland and insufficiently seasoned and the portion sizes are better suited to breakfast (which are they are not usually open for) or a light lunch. It's... more
Nice interior and friendly service, upscale menu but food lacks much flavour.
We had a nice lunch at this small but classy restaurant. We did not have a reservation but managed to get a table even though several were reserved.
The server was friendly and attentive. The soup was very good but could have been a bit hotter, the salad seemed to have too much dressing on it, I would suggest serving...

One of the best small restaurants in town. You know you are getting good organic food here.
Party for your mouth, great melange of flavors. Service is kinda bizarre, more in keeping with a Bronx diner than what the rest of the experience connotes.
