I did not get what I booked

When I booked a hotel room I requested and paid extra for a king size bed and a balcony. when I arrived at the hotel room I was told I could get a king size bed or a balcony but could not have both

Well situated hotel

Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. We did not use the pool or fitness facilities so I am not able to comment. Excellent location in easy walking distance of everything in downtown Victoria - restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, the harbour, Beacon Hill park, museum, art galleries etc. etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Just what we wanted!

We were there for a special occasion, and everything was just as we wished. Staff hit the perfect tone by being warmly attentive and interested without being obsequious.

Convenience location

The hotel is located in the middle of Victoria, nice place to walk around the town. However the only things bad is that you have to pay for the parking in the hotel basement.

Great location, especially for anyone at the Conference Center. Easy access to shopping, dining, the museum and Inner Harbor transport.

Downtown Convenience

The Marriott provided a nice clean well-appointed room. Staff were friendly. The gym and pool area was well-maintained. Convenient to the harbour, the legislature, good dining options, and tourist attractions.

This was our third visit and the second one in the past two months. We enjoyed a two night stay. We made the most of the room service, very good value considering the quality of the food, the service and not having to roam around town in the dark or rain to dine. Right beside the Empress and some great restaurants in downtown Victoria. The services are great - very nice gym and the food in the restaurant is excellent. Rooms are very nice and very good size.

Das Hotel, sprich zumindest unser Zimmer, war schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und Bedarf einer Renovierung (Teppichboden sehr schmutzig, Gardinen löchrig). Das Parken kostet extra. Ansonsten gut gelegen, um die Innenstadt von Victoria anzusehen.

busy hotel weekend in Victoria

Hotel room had nice view of the harbor. Unfortunately, we had 2 double beds instead of queen that I had booked. The elevators, were so slow, had to wait 5 to 10 minutes. For the price $349 per night, the room was a bit used. All things aside, the staff were excellent. We ordered foam pillows and they arrived at our door within 5 min.

A great location, close to everything

The only thing that was not so good was that the coffee maker was located in the closet and a staff member told me that if I wanted to make coffee I have to take it to the bathroom and make the coffee there as the electric outlet is there. I have been to many hotels all over the world and that was a first.

Excellent Victoria Hotel

My wife and I had a wonderful long weekend. The location is great, a short walk from the ferry terminals, and close to downtown shopping and restaurants. The hotel was excellent value for money and 4 star all the way.

Victoria Visit

Overall a great experience! The hotel is in a great location. The staff was very accomodating not only during the check in process but also in helping us plan our activities. The room was attractive and comfortable. We took advantage of the pool, hot tub and the laundry facilities. Victoria is a great place to vist and the Marriott Inner Harbor is a very good place to use as a base of operations.

Excellent location and super service

The hotel is centrally located to many interesting places and the harbor with its daily varied attractions. The service was excellent and the restaurant has an ample and varied menu. The breakfast buffet was complete and well prepared. Well worth the cost and a definite repeat.

Fantastic service! The entire staff somehow knows your name from the moment of arrival. And, they seem to be attentive to every detail including how you like your coffee and which newspaper you prefer.

Only a block from the harbour and steps to downtown, so it's well located. The hotel is an older property, but they've done a good facelift. Carpets could be attended to better

Stayed at the Victoria Marriott while in Victoria. Staff was great, location was great, but my room was something to be desired. Although maid service was good, the carpet was stained and wasn't sure how clean it really was. Made you want to keep your shoes on.

Can't beat the location

We loved everything about this place except we were hoping for a complimentary breakfast. No such luck. The staff were wonderful; concierge very helpful. Enjoyable place to stay

The hotel is what you expect for the price, very nice; and the staff is wonderful. The Fire and Ice restaurant is expensive and you can find much better at nearby places. The location is easy walking distance of almost everything. I would stay here again.

Wonderful!

The hotel staff were fantastic and made our visit very comfortable. The room seriously lacked space for clothes, but didn't matter. We felt so welcome by the staff that a little issue with the room was nothing. Would definitely stay again.

Overall great hotel. We ended up having to get a handicap bathroom as the only way to get a king bed (vs. two doubles) and ended up soaking the bathroom in the process. Otherwise, room was clean and staff was friendly.

“Up to expectations except for location. I wound up in the hospital emergency room and hotel would make no allowance for our change of plans. Would give no special rate for extra night for my husband because of unforeseen extra stay. He moved to another hotel. I wish we had stayed at this other hotel instead. Great location, friendly staff

Great hotel, and a very good location, within walking distance of all the great shops and sites of Victoria. All the staff we met were very friendly and went out of their way to help in anyway they could. Room wasn't huge but very adequate, clean and comfortable.

Great stay

Great stay, conveniently located, large convention or party going on while we were there so that was very noisy and there were WAY TOO MANY kids in the pool so hard for my kids to enjoy.

We walked alot for shopping and restaurants from the hotel. This hotel is very conveniently located and shopping, dining, sightseeing, etc. all within walking distance.
