A soaring atrium lobby makes a striking entrance to this 38-story hotel, located a few blocks from the cruise-ship terminal and central business district. Decorated in modern pale woods and neutral tones, each room has almost a full wall of windows showcasing expansive views of Burrard Inlet and the North Shore Mountains or the city skyline.
traveling aint cheap and lodging adds up quick but we did some priceline negotiating while driving and ended up with this room for one night for around $200 for a double, we had a crapload of luggage since we were checkin into our week long cruise the next day but the bellhop helped us schlep it up. the lobby is very pretty and big, fruit flavored water stations were set up as well as computer... more
Stayed here for a conference and couldn't ask for a better location. Couple of blocks to the convention centre, shopping, Stanley Park...Harbour view room, nice king-size bed. Like others have said in their reviews, great food in the lobby restaurant. Would stay here again.
Very nice hotel. Bar had a great happy hour. Free wifi in the lobby, and free computers with printers too. Awesome breakfast / reception room, though it gets VERY crowded for breakfast. Walking distance to Canada Place, which was convenient for our cruise. And walking distance to lots of places. Great location for first time Vancouver visitors.
Stayed there for a conference. Food was great, banquet staff were very attentive. The view from my room was incredible, facing marina and Stanley Park.
The fitness centre is lovely but I only went once and chose to hike in Stanley Park instead. The pool is fantastic, equipped with sauna, steam room and hot tub.
Location could not be better... 5 minute walk to downtown and 10 minute walk to...

This is such an awesome, clean, and very nice hotel. Definitely going here again when I go back to Vancouver.
Gorgeous hotel. We ended up getting a room on the 24th floor with an amazing view of the city. It was really busy with a conference, so I'm sure a lot of the rooms were occupied, but it was but VERY quiet in the room. The bed was firm, but comfortable. Loved having the Keurig in the room, and the bathroom had a shower and a bath!! We did not have to wait long to check in, and our check-out we... more
This is a good hotel. It's nice and clean, with a great, central Waterfront location that's only a few blocks from the harbor and seawall, the seaplane terminal, several restaurants, Canada Place, and the Waterfront CanadaLine stop (which is a little under a 1/2-mile walk). The rooms are smallish but nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and responsive staff. I'd stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Vancouver Downtown in July, 2015. It was close to the waterfront area and in walking distance to many shops, eateries, Canada Place, the harbor, walkway to Stanley Park, etc. Our room was spacious enough and had a good view. They are different sizes with different views, so you may want to ask about them before checking in. Their restaurant and bar had great... more
The stay was great we checked out a lot of attractions close to the hotel within walking distance great with small kids.
Great service, had an cleanliness issue and asked for a new room, they gave me an upgraded room, and took off my breakfast and internet (I didn't request this or fuss they just went the extra mile)
View is awesome. Great local. Would come back
Excellent Location. We opted for an upgrade to the Hospitality Suite for a very reasonable price, and got a huge one bedroom suite complete with kitchen, conference room, and a pull-out couch for the kids. Our bedroom was a corner suite with great views of city and harbor. Brand new (1 month old) renovated, and beautifully decorated. Super comfortable beds and wonderful bathroom amenities. The... more
We had to pay around $15 for less that 24 hours of Wi-Fi access. this is archaic in this day and age!
Excellent staff and a comfortable stay but they seemed to have a problem with serving hot coffee!
Top notch service. Management team is amazing, specifically Tyler. Whole staff is attentive and representative of the Marriott Brand (except the concierge, she was terrible, but seriously, why do hotels still even have concierge when the internet does the same thing, so I dont really blame the hotel for that). No better brand than Marriott and this hotel is quintessential class act.
Very convenient for walking to gastown, robson or other downtown districts of interest. We took a high city view room. Water view would have cost more. Money saved was spent on sightseeing (we were out all day, so a better view would not have paid off for us). Our package included buffet breakfast; very good. On our last evening, we ate dinner at the hotel and found the prices reasonable, food... more
The hotel is situated in a great location in Vancouver. The price I felt was not the best value overall.
I love staying here, and I do so often - it's my home away from home. Everything, from checking in to checking out and everything in between is always such a pleasant experience. Richard and Sean at the front desk are always friendly, and ready to recommend the best places to eat and things to do on any given day. I'm disappointed when I check in and they're not there.

Enjoyed our stay from the moment we checked in and were given early access to our room. Loved the reading light behind the bed, every hotel should have them. Food was wonderful in the dinning room, so we went no further for our meals.
Excellent property, try to get a harbor view, easier if you have status.we had the 25th floor and the views were other worldly: mountains, ships, seaplanes and the busy streets below.
The location is excellent, near Coal Harbour and four blocks from Robson street, yes not on the busiest of thoroughfares. The food service is the best I've had at a Marriott. Terrific...the building is a bit...

The front staff barely spoke to us. No newspaper provided.
Good location, very close to the harbor, downside is if you don't have a harbor view it's just kind of a let down. The room was nice, nothing mind blowing but it was perfectly ok. Like the Renaissance in Providence, the view is really going to be all that matters.
Service, sort of a mix. My wife was really unhappy with a couple of things, I am very quiet but she had some real issues. I'd say...

Had loud neighbor could hear everything she said.. Overall it was a nice place to stay and staff was great also.. Thanks..
The service here is amazing. From the registration, to the staff supporting the restaurant. They were very personable and pleasant to be around. The food for breakfast was phenomenal. I really enjoyed my stay at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle. Against advice I had foolishly spent the previous night at a bed and breakfast, and stepping up to the Pinnacle made the world of difference. My room on the 26th floor had spectacular views of the harbor.
At the bed and breakfast I never saw anyone, no other guest, no staff, no one, they left my key under a rock for me, so I let...

Outstanding time at this hotel. The location's perfect, and the accommodations were great. Beautiful view of the city and harbor from the 30th floor. Would definitely stay again. The staff was exemplary - and a special thank you to Caitlin at the front desk for the quick check-in and providing a room with a world-class view. Made for a really special last night in Canada.
Stayed last year, enjoyed it so booked again. This time, the safe didn't work. there was a small amount of black mold growing in the shower. Just not as nice. The staff were very courteous and friendly.
The hotel was adequate...we had just spent a week in Whistler which the hotel was fantastic and we were here for the night only thus the adequate comment...It was hard to compare.
The staff at the hotel were excellent to deal with. Great, positive and friendly staff. Will defenitely return. Thank You,
Great price, location, service. Definitely will choose this hotel on my next trip ti Vancouver
My family spent overnight downtown to celebrate new year. It was well worth it staying at Marriott. I'm glad we did. It's a memorable experience.
Staff wasn't accomodating. TV and keurig didn't work. Was told all rooms had soaker tubs and it was very small. Was also told it had panoramic view and it was one Window with blocked view. Very clean and nice decor bit overall didn't enjoy my stay.
Booked the hotel for a quick getaway. Expected to have Marriott Rewards gold level concierge lounge access, but we were informed on check in that the lounge was closed over the holidays, and we were given a one time restaurant credit instead. The restaurant was good, but we previously had our meals planned out. With all the great restaurants in easy walking distance, there's just not enough... more

we had an excellent experience at your hotel as all staff were very pleasent and helpful in every
The room and the hotel were great, but I was a little stung at having to pay for internet service after how much I paid for the room and parking. Between $7 and $15 for just a single day's service is a bit much (and no explanation as to which service provides you with what)
Found an excuse to go visit Vancouver and we are so glad we stayed here. They let us check in early, held our bags after we checked out and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay there again.
ホテルのすぐ近くに海があり、North Vancouverの美しい景色を楽しみながら散歩するのは最高でした。スタンレーパークも結構近いし、海沿いに素敵なレストランもあります。またロブソン通りも近いので、買い物も楽しめました。

I often stay at this hotel and enjoy it. This time was no exception. From the time I arrived, the staff were superb. At check-in, Abhi told me he would upgrade me to free WIFI. When I went for a run in the morning, Nicola kept both my room key and my glasses, and greated me with a bottle of water on my return. Couldn't have been better!
The hotel is in perfect location. The Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice and bed was super comfortable. Had room service and food was delicious!
In town for the Grey Cup. A wonderful hotel location for all the Festivities!! I am unable to say I will be back or recommend the hotel. Others in same price range simply do a better job of it.
After spending a number of nights at a hotel on Robson Street in Vancouver, we moved to the Marriot in the West End. The staff were great, check in was easy because of pre-paying. We didn't have much time in the hotel, so didn't use the gym or pool. Great room. Great view. Fresh. Clean always at my beck and call... Which when I go on vacation is exactly what I want. High room quiet. Great location to everything. A nice walk to the downtown core of beautiful Vancouver and seconds away from the conversation centre and Harbor air
- It would have been good to have a newspaper delivered in the morning, a lot of other hotels have this and we really like it. - Having a taxi on the side of the hotel would have been better than running across the road tot he taxi stand. - Hotel staff could have been a little more friendly.
*Note* I am a platinum level Marriott rewards so I am Marriott biased in terms of hotel but I do have high expectations from them.
I like this hotel, it's well located and the staff are friendly and easy to deal with.

The views are amazing and the rooms are well updated and furnished with everything you need - including an umbrella for that "occasional" rain shower. Easy access to and from the... more
Bought a 2 night escape at a Silent Auction for charity. The hotel and staff were all amazing. My room was on the top floor or the hotel on the 31st (assuming there are residential above that) and everything was great. Huge shower stall (with huge window in the bathroom). Room was large and the hotel was able to assist... more
I stayed here for one night after spending a few nights at the Coast Coal Harbour. The room was dated in comparison, could hear everything in the hallway and the air-conditioning would switch itself on and off so often I had to shut it off to get some sleep. I paid about the same price for both. They are virtually... more
Paid $75 on Hotwire so was really happy with the quality of this hotel for the price. If I paid the rack rate it would have been average.
Rooms clean. Beds comfortable. Washrooms seemed to be new. Service was decent.
Would have preferred to stay at the Hyatt regency. Better all round.
The location is fantastic along with staff which is very helpful. We were able to walk to all our destinations. The rooms maybe considered a bit small but they are comfortable and very clean. We ordered room service one night after a show and the food was excellent. Would definitely stay at this location when we travel back to the... more
I had not stayed here for a couple of years, and wow have they done a nice job with the update! It always was a nice hotel, but it's even more-so now. The Hotel views of the harbor were awesome. As a Marriot Gold member disappointed to learn the Hospital floor is closed on weekends!! Also pool and spa were closed while we were there. They did offer passes for the Renaissance across the street but it was too cold to run back and forth just for the pool. So disappointed.
We were given a room on the top (31st) floor, with wraparound windows on two walls. Two comfy chairs with side table, huge flatscreen, desk in the room, multiple reading lights, huge bathroom with separate shower and tub, and niceities like a room safe, umbrella, iron, and coffee assortment.
Terrific fitness room with lots of equipment, sauna, hot tub, lap...

Comfortable bed. Small room but adequate. Great pricw .
The two reasons our experience was excellent was the staff and the accomodations. The staff was excellent. When we arrived late the front desk person was able to give us a room with the harbor view. The breakfast staff was solicitous and friendly. We were treated with some sweets after we watched the Seahawks win their game to go to the Superbowl. When there was a discrepancy in our bill at... more
I loved our stay here! We stayed for a week during the Christmas holiday, and fell in love. Its located in the Downtown area close to all the amazing shops and cafes. My son LOVED the spa/pool area. The hotel also surprised my son with a candy filled stocking on my hotel door on... more
This is an outstanding, cosmopolitan property in the heart of the tony Vancouver waterfront district. Alia is an outstanding manager - she and all staff make you feel very comfortable from the outset. Elevated, panoramic views of water, city and aircraft alike are sure to deliver. It is always a nice touch to receive some complimentary food and beverage amenity when staying along with a nice personal note from the manager. It says that they know how to treat their customers!
The rooms were on the smaller side, but that is pricey land values for you. Rooms had an awesome view of Burrard inlet and West/North Van, if it weren't for the low cloud ceiling.

This Marriott is conveniently located a block away from the Vancouver Convention Center. This was awesome for several reasons: 1) I ran the Lululemon Seawheeze race and the start line was by the convention center 2) the convention center was where the race's expo was and 3) There's this yummy gelato place down the street by the convention center which is down...

We stayed at this hotel for nearly one week. The room was very clean and well kept. We had a room on the 20th floor with a city view. Our windows were panoramic, spreading nearly the entire length of the room, from floor to ceiling. The king bed was extremely comfortable! This hotel was within walking distance of almost everything. The one thing I didn't much care for was the separate shower and... more

Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle deserves a 5 star! Service from Check-in, Bar, Restaurant, and house keeping was EXCELLENT! They were all very friendly, and very helpful. They were there to serve and they did it with a smile. The bartender at the hotel was very friendly, it made it seemed like I knew him for a long time, when I actually just met him the evening I arrived at the hotel and decided to... more
A fantastic business hotel. The location at the harbour is perfect for any conference at the convention center and also very close to the attractions in the commercial area downtown. One thing I really liked about this hotel was that it was central but not chaotic. There wasn't a huge traffic jam outside everyday. The surrounding streets afforded the excitement of being in a metropolis without... more
Yes, yes, this place is nice. It has nice views (if you pay more) and the people are friendly. It's nothing that special though (for the price). Why is parking $12? And I have never in my life heard of parking being taxed. That's just crazy! A $150 room ended up being $200 after taxes. Pffft. For that much money the mattress should feel like a cloud. I should have just stayed home. :P
We had our wedding reception at the Marriott Pinnacle and we couldn't be happier! The venue, food, service, hotel rooms were all amazing and went above and beyond our expectations! Our guests were all raving about the food and the venue. I especially appreciated Amanda Young's attention and creativity in helping us with our wedding details. The hotel is also beautifully renovated so it makes... more
We booked the Pinnacle because of it's convenient location to the port where our cruise ship would depart. We did not want to have to make transfer arrangements in order to get us from a hotel to the port. It was only a 1.5 block walk from the front door to the port. There was a quaint breakfast shop right outside the second floor door (back of the hotel) and the town was beautiful and safe for... more
My family and I stayed at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown for two nights prior to our Alaskan cruise. I booked using points and my parents booked a pre-pay rate. The room was long and windows covered the entire length of the... more
Great service for conferences. Definitely a place to check
Walked from the ship terminal and checked in early with no problem. A great location and the whole area was clean and beautiful. Breakfast is pricey but there are coffee shops nearby with breakfast. The staff was very helpful for getting us around town and to the ferry for Victoria. I'll stay at Marriotts again.
The Marriott has a really good location if you plan to walk in the city while on vacation. The harbor views are also really nice, though there are some buildings that obstruct the view a bit. The room was also very, very small, and the style was suited more for business than vacation comfort. Hotel staff was ok, not overly helpful or friendly. The bar staff was standoffish and the prices in the... more
Why is it bad?
1. Management decision of power-washing garage and extremely loud construction drilling noises on a high-volume summer weekend. This should be avoided on a busy weekend and carried out on weekday instead. Extreme disturbance to guests.
2. No response to customer requests. Requested double-bed twice, and never got it. Requested at reception to have a roll-away bed delivered, and...

Great location, walking distance to everything. 2 blocks from harbor and Canada place where a lot of the tourist bus will pick you up for activities, such as for Capilano Bridge. Room had a great view, very clean and modern. Too bad wi-fi wasn't free in the room.
Great service, clean, and modern (As modern as cookie cutter gets) Oh and pet friendly! My frenchie loves it here.
Parking is a bit high, but then again you're in a professional area of downtown. Guests should get a break somewhat, but I bet parking fees are a money generating machine for them.

If you are Marriott fan like me, definitely consider staying here.
This hotel is in a very good location. The room was modern, clean and nicely furnished. The bathroom was large with a separate tub and shower. The hotel was very quiet. The bed was quite comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
There was a lot to like about this hotel. Clean, quiet, well located, helpful staff and nicely appointed. The only down side was that my room smelled rather musty. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.
We were very pleased with the hotel overall. Service is good, the location central but quiet for downtown Vancouver. The room was quite spacious, the bed with it's european style linens and pillows was the best I've ever seen in a hotel, anywhere. I would recommend this to everyone.
Excellent value for the money. Hotel staff were excellent. They were very pleasant, accomodating and arranged a corner room with a great view and king sized bed. Our expectations were exceeded and we would definitely recommend the hotel to others.
Exceptional service - we stayed for 2 nights during the recent snow storm and the hotel staff was extremely attentive. They have good facilities - indoor pool, spa, steam room, etc and massages are available by reservation via the Concierge. The food is high quality for a hotel and the rooms are very clean.
I would recommend this hotel to others. Great rooms and services.
Awesome location. Walking distance to shopping areas and restaurants. Parking was convenient and reasonably priced for guests. Rooms were clean and nicely appointed. Mgmt even went above and beyond by treating the wife to nice dessert for her bday. Enjoyed the view from the 31st flr. Definitely would stay here again.
I really like staying here, and have done so a few times. The location is a big plus for me as its close to my favorite places. My daughter who is really picky gives it her seal of approval also. A good hotel at a great location. Close to the Skytrain line from the airport and just a step away from the water front. If you have a car, try parking somewhere else, as the lot rates here are upwards of past $30 for the day. “ Good – Clean and good location. Bad - Ventilation system sounds like a leaf blower. I've stayed in three different rooms and it's always the same. You can not sleep with the air conditioning or heat on. The rooms are small, invite two friends for conversation and two of you will be sitting on the bed. There is no movie selection and no mini-bar.

“ Nice hotel with friendly & helpful staff. Our room was lovely, clean and nicely appointed. Bathroom had both a bath and shower. Bed and bed linens very comfortable. I would definitely return and/or recommend this hotel to friends and family. ”
“ Excellent hotel and staff. Most hotels have complimentary wireless in the rooms and lobby at no charge. Overall the hotel is highly recommended for business or leisure travelers. It is not a hotel for romance. ”
“Outstanding value for the level of amenity, comfort and location.”

“The service far exceeded all expectations and was located right in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It was close to many restaurants and shops with the harbor right across the street.”
“ Great place to stay and it's a pity that my stay was too short. ”
“Very friendly staff, efficient check-in, the room I was assigned was excellent, full glass and excellent view, which made my day.”
“The hotel was excellent. An amazing location that allowed us to walk a couple of blocks to Robson street and enjoy some of the pre-Olympic festivities, or walk a few blocks down and enjoy the sea wall and Stanley Park. The hotel was very clean, and the bed was heaven. The hotel as their own bedding line, that alone was worth the stay.”
“Loved it. We had a blast! Walked along the downtown waterfront. Loved the view. Wish I had brought a bathing suit! We had a fabulous time! Thank you.”
“ Room was nice. Amenities were fine. Clean but not pristine. Staff pleasant and helpful. Security poor as people were partying in the hallways and no one stopped it. ”
“Excellent hotel all around. The view from our window was spectacular. The concierge was very helpful. The executive upgrade was more than we expected and definitely made the stay much more enjoyable.”
I really enjoy the good service, the staff was very pleasant, they wer always smiling and helping me. The concierge was very helpful.
The hotel itself is great. We were treated well upon arrival, even though we were wearing pretty sloppy travel clothes, and the housekeeping and front desk staff were both wonderful. All in all it was expected of a Marriott property.”

I felt welcomed from first moment to last. All staff were delightful; the concierge service was especially helpful.I enjoyed a spectacular harbor view from the 27th floor. The location is ideal to all downtown and harbor attractions.

“Great hotel, very happy. When I went, there were only 2 working elevators - so made going in and out a pain. But the room was beautiful, staff was very friendly. Parking was a bit expensive though.”
A 50th wedding anniversary marred by 2 out of 4 elevators inoperable for the entire week, noisy pressure washers outside, and a fire alarm at 6:45 a.m. caused by a permanent resident (no credit or compensation by hotel for the gross inconvienence).
“Clean, convenient, loved the color scheme, and comfortable. They had only 3 elevators running throughout the weekend and that was bothersome for as many people who were trying to use them, but otherwise no complaints. We had a corner room with awesome views, the bed was so comfortable, the TV was good sized. It was very nice.”
“Nice part of town, nice room. Very silly that they put an old Nintendo game system in the room that they charge per hour to use.”
We arrived past midnight on a VERY busy night in Vancouver. Unfortunately, Orbitz had communicated 2 persons to the hotel so when 2 adults and 2 kids showed up with 1 bed - we had a problem. This is the perfect location if you have business in downtown Vancouver. Few minutes walk from the Convention Center and very close to the entertainment district too. Nice, quiet hotel, extremely helpful and pleasant staff! And the price is right too.
This hotel is super luxurious! With what we paid for at the Marriott, it's all worth it. The menu at the restaurant below (Showcase) is insanely expensive. There are close cheap places to eat nearby.
The support staff was excellent - doormen, cleaning staff, fitness room staff. The main lobby staff varied and was not as helpful. Using the internet as a visitor to access locations was a problem. A visitor friendly service would be better instead of selling trips.
Definitely on my recommend list. Very close to excellent shopping and the water. The rooms were very comfortable and relaxing - I slept so well in those beds. Also, the shampoo and soaps are my favorite of any hotel! On my next return to Vancouver, I will definitely stay here!
Yes, would recommend this Marriott for sure! Arrived to have a room with view of other high rises and contruction on 11th floor.
