Hotel was close to everything.

The Travel Lodge hotel was in the perfect location. Located right next to Eastside Marios restaurant. It was easy to leave and return to the hotel from being out and about in Timmins. I will definitely stay there again on my next stay in Timmins.

I will probably stay at another hotel next time.

There was lots of noise in the first night up until 1:30 am and no hotel staff seemed to care. I did notice that the front desk only had one person doing everything. Maybe understaffed. Second night was a little better.

Friendly greeting. Very accommodating. Liked that it was next to the restaurant. Wish I had known about the cardio room prior to arriving. Like most hotels, the towels are not geared for bigger people. Finally, it was a little confusing trying to get the air conditioner working. However, overall experience was great. - Unwelcoming smell in hallway and room regardless of clean appearance.
- Problem with tv and remote. Unable to watch a movie. Desk clerk offered a change of room but I did not feel like moving.

Hotel Experience

We were in Timmins to visit friends and to donate some scrap books on the history of Timmins to the museum. Was so disappointed in the area. Not what I remember growing up there.

Hotel was well located and rooms were clean and functional.The mini fridge and microwave were very convenient. The lobby looked rundown and the continental breakfast was very limited in selection. Although we were in a non smoking room there was the smell of cigarette in the hallway. We were only there for one night on business so it met our needs.

It was a fantastic experience. We were there for a funeral and I refused to pay $160 a night a competitive hotel. It needs some updating, but honestly very clean. The beds were so comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. The front desk staff were amazing. If I ever head back to Timmins, I would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay

I would easily recommend this hotel. This is a newer hotel. The rooms are nice, clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. They even clear the snow off your car if you're parked in front. Where else would you get that kind of service?

Not a bad place to stat, if what you need is a place to crash. Just be aware that it is avenue for kids hockey teams and the noise that goes with them. You may want to check that out first. Staff were great at trying to keep noise to a reasonable level. Wasn't all night, so that's a good thing.

Lock your car doors

Everything at the hotel was fine including the staff and my room. I had to park in the back lot to easily access my room. Unfortunately, this is where my car was broken into. No major theft, just tobacco products and ash tray money. Could have been worse, but use caution none the less.

This location is very tired. I have stay here twice once April 2012 and June 2013. In 2012 the entire hotel smelled of smoke, they seem to have fixed that this trip. However the rooms need a retro fit. However the rooms and hotel is very clean.

Received a phone call from the front desk shortly after getting the room to see if the room was ok and we had the amenities we requested. Everything in the room worked. Had a comfortable weeks stay.

I really appreciate being able to bring in my dog as he is a family member and is probably the cleanest client you could have. At first glance it seemed clean enough but then my pup found food - a bagel- under the bed.

I stay at this hotel several times a year while visiting family and friends. The hotel people are always most accommodating and friendly. The rooms are kept very clean but however I am noticing that an up keep to the rooms and hallways are desperately needed. Complimentary breakfast is always nice and good.

Family Holiday weekend

Wonderful..stay...but our vehicle broke down and we needed food......not veding machine food,,,,but something hot. Wish there was more food available.
Also we forgot toothpast and deodorant...too far to walk to get some..most hotels have a small quantity of necessities,.

Can't complain

It was clean and decent and didn't smell of cigarettes which was a surprise. I've stayed in dumpier places for sure so can't complain but I found it quite pricey for what it was.

I was pleasqantly surprised with the Travel lodge, the cleaning ladies were very friendly and the front desk people were generally very helpful and pleasant! Our room was clean. It was close to several restaurants and very close to the high school (reunion) and downtown!

All furnishings in this hotel are getting quite run down. There are a few cardio machines in the fitness room which are in good shape.

I had read that the hotel was clean and it surpassed expectations with a modern and immaculate bathroom. In addition, there was free wireless internet, breakfast, a small fridge and microwave.

This busy hotel is very clean and highly recommended. It is located right beside Eastside Mario's Restaurant on the main thoroughfare of Timmins. Our room was near the back and was quiet. The Travelodge in Timmins was very nice the staff at the desk were very helpful they offered to carry my luggage up the stairs. The breakfast in the morning was very good. I would come back and stay here again. This hotel is clsoe to the mall and lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood.
