Clean, comfortable and friendly staff!

We stayed for 1 night before taking the ferry. The hotel is off and away by itself, but there are amenities not far (walking distance - pizza, pita, Sobeys, Urban Planet, Walmart). Economical and comfortable!

Stayed one night attending a function in Saint John during the first major snowfall of the winter season. Sidewalks and parking lots were cleaned early morning for easy exit!

Clean quiet hotel with very helpful staff

At first we thought we were far out from the downtown core, but once the staff explained how to get downtown quickly and easily it was just fine. The rooms were spacious and clean and there was no hallway noise. Breakfast was pretty simple but something to get you going.

Good Hotel for visiting the area

This was a good location for visiting sites and activities around the city area. The location was close to downtown, had good parking , and had a variety in breakfast foods.

Great stay

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel for our honeymoon. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was great and the room was very spacious and comfortable. We even got a reserved parking spot infront of our room and could enter and exit through that door which was neat. Very nice hotel close to the Bay ferry.

we had very nice big room with a queen size bed very clean and comfortable we only stayed one night when we got off the ferry on our way home .The staff were very friendly explained all we needed to know about the hotel breakfast which was buffet style but adequate .

close to highway

Staff was amazing, Hotel's room was nice very good. I have to free updated by nice staff. Everything is perfect but I think about food for breakfast they should include chicken/beef and also pancake like quality in they provide pancake in the breakfast. They can provide custard etc. I mean they can work on Breakfast item.

Not worth the price.

Nice facility close to the "Reversing Falls"

We have stayed at this facility several times - it has changed management and hotel affiliations three times over the years, and is now a Travelodge. Staff was very helpful, facilities are very good. Nice breakfast and lots of tables. Convenient to the reversing falls and the Digby Ferry.

We were fully satisfied in all respects. Counter staff went out of their way to be helpful. We would definitely stay there again without any hesitation.

Easy access

The personnel was very friendly and being situated at a walking distance from a few stores and restaurants was very nice.

Very good hotel. Got free upgrade to suite upon arrival, staff very friendly and even called a cab for us to go to our venue later in the evening.

Convenient location

Great location quite close to the Digby/Saint John Ferry with easy access/egress to Route One. I use this motel twice or more each year when I am traveling to my winter house in Florida. Staff are always very helpful.

Good Hotel, Terrible Breakfast

I booked thru Expedia. I stayed in Room 215 for 2 nights. The Travelodge does offer a discount if you stay 2 or more nights. The room was adequate but functional and clean. It is located on the West side so if you want to be Uptown or near the Malls this is not your ideal location. The FREE continental breakfast was horrible. This was just a stop over going north, but a good value, everyone were helpful and pleasant, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Home Coming Visit to Saint John, NB

I booked a room for one night at the Travelodge on what used to be called The Golden Mile. I was attending a wedding nearby and this was a convenient location to stay overnight. It was a very pleasant experience, the room was very clean, and best of all, I found it to be very quiet all night. It was like I was the only person staying at the hotel, but that certainly was not the case.

Location and quality

Quality was what I expected for a Travelodge, sufficient and clean, but certainly not luxurious. Except for being close to the Interstate the location was horrible. It is the middle of a construction area, with rubble, concrete and dirt in every direction you looked. We were glad to be staying only one night.

We stayed overnight at the Travel Lodge in St. John with a 3 year old and a 4 month old. The staff were very accommodating, the rooms were a descent size and very clean. Travelling

We needed a easy area to stay so we were able to get off & on highway without driving to far into a town or city. It was perfect for that!

Really nice location,

This is an older hotel which has been kept in good condition...it does not have some of the nice amenities such as a sit down room for breakfast but the staff does a wonderful job of making you feel at home!

Quiet Hotel on main road

This hotel was quiet and fairly easy to find, just off the main highway.

We only stayed one night because there is only so much to see and do in St.John but our stay was a pleasure. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable. To top it all the desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Water pressure was a little challenging and the walls are pretty thin so you can between rooms.

Weekend Stay

The bathroom could have been cleaned a little better. But overall it was a great stay. Breakfast was great (scrambled eggs, sausage, fries, plus toast and bagels). Staff were friendly, I really have no complaints.

Loved it, nice and clean. Tub was a little small but most shower anyway. It's a little way out of downtown but have a car. Staff was super friendly and helpfull with questions.

this hotel is far from downtown but is close to westend shopping locations. hotel is very clean and comfy and the staff is very friendly.

Maritime hospitality

This was a first time stay in at the Travellodge Suites, in Saint John or any city for that matter. I was welcomed in a true friendly Maritime hospitality, manner. Food & Staff excellent

A room is a room; the amazing breakfast and superior staff will make me return to this hotel. I had an early morning meeting and was still able to have a delicious breakfast upon return. I forgot my cel phone charger and the person at the desk lent me his.

Convenient location,friendly staff

We had not stayed in a Travelodge before and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel staff were very nice, friendly, and informative. The room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. It is close to the Reversing Falls. It is easy to find a good breakfast place in the morning, though they do serve a complimentary Continental breakfast at the hotel. We would stay there again! This was a great value!

Convenient location for Nova Scotia trip

Hotel lobby and our room were both clean and comfortable, staff helpful and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast choices, more than just the usual continental There appeared to be remodeling and painting on the first floor which gave it a bit of a shoddy appearance.
