Infested

The outside appearance of the motel and room need upgrading. We checked in and a few hours later realized the room was ant infested. I would never stay here again or recommend anyone to stay here.

The empty room next door had the alarm clock going off at midnight and the staff were very slow at engaging a resolution. The room was not very clean, had not been vacuumed. Woke up early to get out of there. Would never satay there again.

We arrived at 10 pm and there were people loitering outside and others partying and very loud. The room was not as expected, stains on carpet and the door lock was broken. We almost left because we were afraid to spend the night, not a great environment for families.

We set room temperature to setting we desire when we return it has been changed, had to wait for temp to return to desired setting! Also bathroom only had one of 4 lightbulbs working.

The room smelled like urine and mold the door had been kicked in and had no phone. When they finally moved us to a new room it smelled a little better. We were unable to use anything that was advertised I am highly disappointed in the hotel and false promises I am waiting to see if I can get a refund .

the room smelled of smoke although it was non-smoking. carpeting was dirty and room smelled musty and old. another guest complained of the headboard being dismantled and screws on the floor. another guest was complaining about a window screen not being able to be opened.. other guest were coming in late and were loud and noisy banging the doors. the hotel desk clerk was not very friendly.

Affordable hotel in Niagra

When we arrived the hotel did not have the room we booked on Expedia- room with 3 queen beds, but offered us two adjoining rooms instead. The hotel was very busy. Breakfast was understaffed and did not provide a good variety.

Right from the beginning the staff was arrogant and rude I found our room is very dirty I found spoiled milk underneath the bed ,in a baby bottle I would not recommend this hotel to my enemy!!!!

the hotel wasn't very clean. no blow dryer in the bathroom. I booked the room the day of, called in to check if everything was ok. the guy on the phone said yes. when we showed up to the hotel about 5 hrs after the booking and confirmation, we had to wait nearly an hour to access our rooms as they were STILL being cleaned up!! check in was at 3p.m. we showed up around 7 and still had to wait!

Hotel is far from the falls in Niagara

The room was dirty, the room had dirty towels, the room had dirty linens, the room had wet carpets, the air condition didn't work, the coffee pot was dirty, the door for bathroom had a whole, the food was terrible, the service was terrible, and no lights in the stairs up to the room, it was dark and not safe.

Very good Family venue

Found the bonaventure easy to find good parking, the staff were very attentive and helpful, the rooms were very clean and tidy the wirlpool bath in the room was a novelty which had to be tried.Although not in the centre of town it was only a short cab ride to town.On the whole you get what you pay for with the Bonaventure. you get much more.Chris and Jan on a visit from England.
