Reliable place

We always stay here when we visit Kingston. It is comfortable and pleasant. The food at the restaurant is very good, although a bit pricey. We will continue to stay here because it's in a good location and a very good deal for the price.

Convenient location.

My only complaint with where we stayed was no microwave was available. When I booked it I assumed that even though it was not in the amenities list, one could be provided. I have Celiac having GF food is a must. My advice is look around for a hotel that can provide what you exactly need.

Ice dispenser woke us up several times during the night, as did children running in the hall.

Great hotel with a super restaurant!!

We had a super stay here. The pool and hot tub were super clean, the restaurant had great specials each night, the beds were super comfortable and the pillows amazing. Second stay at this hotel, still disappointing

I thought I would give this hotel a second chance but still was disappointed. The room, particularly the bathroom was not very clean. The air conditioner was so noisy and kept waking me up throughout the night. At first I thought that it was a truck in the parking lot! The location of this hotel is great but I will try a different one on my next trip to Kingston.

Clean hotel.

We were moving our daughter into residence at Queen's. It was away from the downtown but still only 12 minutes from campus. Good location.

1000 Island Hotel

We had read reviews of most of other hotels in 1000 Island Area and decided to pay a little bit more for our last night in Canada; it was well worth it. Our room in the main building was clean, not small and the bed was very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant, very good value for money and well worth a visit. The pool also looked good. Overall best Travelodge we have ever stayed in.

The wifi wasn't very dependable and the rooms are kind of on the small side. Otherwise, not a bad place to stay.

The hotel s outworn, old and somewhat smelly. They qualify for less than 2 star and yet they charge a four star rate. not please at all.

This is a hotel we stay at every year. Found the room this year to be in rougher shape. Maid service was slack. Perhaps we hit it on a bad day. Will stay again based on previous experiences not this one.

Staff very friendly, room very clean. We enjoyed the pool every night after our days travel. The pool was very clean and we looked forward to our swims. Howell was close to amenities. Had shuttle service to town.

Good location

Everything was good. Fairly close to downtown, restaurants, grocery stores, gas station. Only issue was that I was unable to turn off the HVAC fan. Pool and hot tub excellent.

Old fashioned stay

The reception staff were very welcoming. There was a great little heated pool and sauna. The hotel was easy to find from off the 401. The room was dated with small beds.

Most comfortable beds around!

While the Travelodge is not located terribly close to Kingston's sights, I will choose it over any other properties I've stayed at in the area. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the beds are amazingly comfortable. My kids enjoyed the pool area. Overall, a great value for anyone that is looking for a well cared-for property for a short or long stay.

Great Staff

We stayed here for 2 nights for a sporting event. The desk staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The rooms were clean, and a good size. The only drawback is some noise from the bar on lower floors, near the elevator and stairwell.

For basic good, fresh food at a reasonable price this restaurant is hard to beat. The Dining room is divided into two sections...A dining Room and a Cafe sectiion...Same menu. The main difference is the tablecloths in the Dining Room.
The eggs benedict are the probably the best I have ever had, particularily with Canadian bacon.

Go to this restaurant often with a friend for lunch, and have gone with my wife and friends for supper.

Family Holiday

We stopped for 2 days in Kingston, to visit 1000 islands. Travelodgekingston La Salle offers a calm and friendly accommodation, nice pool and welcoming staff. Make sure you book for the appropiate room, I have initiated the booking for 3 and only a 1 Queen size bed room was confirmed, that I didn't check properly.

This was our second trip to Kingston where we decided to stay at the Travelodge, and we have to say we weren't disapointed. The pool is clean, the rooms are clean, the staff is polite. The hotel is quiet and we will stay here again, and again.

Bonus restaurant on site - fantastic

The rooms where quite comfortable and clean - we had adjoining rooms due travelling with 2 teenagers. The restaurant within the hotel had exceptional cuisine - not just meals. The fish dish was a taste sensation and the prime rib was melt in your mouth. I will return just to be able to experience another meal!

Won't be back

I was very disappointed with the room. It was small, smelly and fair below what I expected for the price that I paid. Amongst other complaints about the hotel, the most appalling was the hotels lack of customer care. I will definitely not be back nor would I recommend to anyone.

Stayed 2 nights in 2 rooms that were linked in the end of August. The hotel is located about 5 mins from Hwy 401 and about 15 minutes or so from Kingston downtown. I stayed here for 2 nights on business and was thankful for my luck. The room was newly renovated, had a comfortable bed and gorgeous bathroom, not to mention a great balcony. Value, nice room and friendly staff mean I would definitely consider this place any time I'm in Kingston.

We stayed there for a hockey tournament on the weekend. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant is great for breakfast but a little pricey. The only negative thing was that the pool wasn't available because of maintenance. It`s close to the mall.

Front desk staff is quite rude, morning, evening and night. We had a cot, which was saggy in the middle and short. The sheets on the cot had a pubic hair on it, noticed when crawling into bed. Very disappointing. Would never stay again.
