July 1 and 2 2015. Two friends of mine with their families each rented a room at this hotel for the night. The rooms were near each other so they would hang out in both rooms visiting and such. My friend did say she noticed some welts on her and thought it was hives. Then she started noticing more hives about 3 weeks later. That is when the bed bugs were discovered in both of my friends homes.... more
Well, better than last year as I got bed bugs. I forgot that the pool area is very noisy until 10P.M. When you have younger kids this is annoying because they go to bed earlier. I think it's time for some new management blood. Start thinking outside the box... more
We stayed here over the Christmas season from December 24-27, 2014 inclusive. We had stayed here two years ago and had a positive experience. The surprise this time was that the rooms have been "refreshed" this year with new carpet, paint, mattresses, etc. We were delighted with the cleanliness of the room and the great service at the hotel. Our... more
The room was not overly impressive as far as appearance. NO bathroom exhaust fan, Hallways not the cleanest, and the heat was not very controllable. We had some in laws come to visit in the evening and when they were departing, were totally discussed by seeing a totally naked drunk standing in the elevator. this was in front of their... more
Rooms are nice beds are hard staff are great, would stay here again. Pool is nice and clean. Lobby is nice and clean!! Only thing we were not impressed about is the cleaning lady stood outside our room while sleeping and had our do not disturb sign on our door and she talked on her walky talky and woke us... more
The pool area was not open during my short stay here, however, they did make sure to tell me that when the reservation was originally made. I was not planning on using the pool so that was not a big deal for me. I did find the hallways to be quite dated but the rooms were really nice once you... more
People were genuine and extremely helpful. Room was spectacular and was treated well throughout my entire experience.
Will absolutely go back!
While in Regina to take in a concert of the Regina Symphony Orchestra, I enjoyed one night at the Travelodge. The price may be slightly higher than some hotels, but the service, room cleanliness, and overall quality make up for any reservations about cost.
Disappointed that I was not advised when booking that the Spa is closed for refit. Think inappropriate to have my business rate increased in light of the renovations currently underway. Looked forward to relaxing in the hot tub!
We enjoyed our stay, the children had fun on the waterslides.
Our supper was served by a friendly young lady.
We had a group of almost 100 people coming in for a Western Canada Convention. We had specifically booked this hotel because it had banquet facilities and a waterpark, pool & spa for the dancers. We were never told that the waterpark would be closed for 4 months! Upon arrival we were told that it was closed & that our... more
Excellent service and amenities, Helpful staff and the on site restaurant had excellent service as well.
Stayed 14 days due to family medical emergency and this became our home away from home for me and my 90 year old active mother. First few nites we were on the ground floor which was very noisy due to tons of families enjoying the waterslide. We moved to the 4th floor business section and were quite comfortable for the... more
This hotel is a gem. For such a big hotel, they get all the details right. The Pub is amazing - great food and service at reasonable prices. I will definitely stay here again!
We have stayed at this Travelodge several times since 2005 and have been pleased with the accommodations and service each time. The rooms are clean, the pool is well maintained, and the cafe serves a very nice breakfast. The hotel is well located with a variety of retail and restaurants in the area, and there is ample parking.
The hotel's business floor has seen better times. And now the swimming pool and slide area is being rebuild. What a nose of the jack hammers. ..
Room did not have heat in it and was not operational after the maintenance guy was there. We were able to at least get a portable heater. The other issue was the Front desk service personal could have cared less about my inquiry in the wyndham reward points. It hard to recommend anyone stay at this hotel with the poor... more
Excellent stay. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was not included, however the food and service in the restaurant were exceptional.
We were upgraded to a business class room because they were doing work on the room we had booked. Who doesn't like an upgrade?
Staff were really helpful and friendly. It was a good stay overall!
The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. The only downside, I would have liked more sugar packets for our coffee and tea...

We stayed four nights; we used the pool, the Pub, the restaurant AND room service. Though this is not a 5-star hotel, it is certainly comfortable and clean. It gave us a place to call "home" during our stay. The staff is polite and quick to correct any mistakes we found.
Recommend this hotel as it was clean, quiet and the meals were very good and reasonably priced. Pool is a bit of a disappointment for me tho, very small and shallow. Looked forward to a pool after travelling so would likely find a hotel with a better pool next time.
The room was clean and spacious. There were plenty of amenities. The hotel doesn't look that impressive from the outside, but it was a great stay. The pub atmosphere and food were excellent!
My grandchildren and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was quite adequate for all of us. The Travelodge is in a very good location and situated near other establishments that we visited. The service was good and I would certainly come again.
I didn't get my room until 4 p.m., and with an 11 a.m. check-out, that really doesn't leave much time. I would rather be chaecking in earlier, and then the 11 a.m. check-out isn't as harsh.
I am here for 3 to 4 days a month for 5 months. The rooms are comfortable and there is access via stairs or elevator everywhere. The last room I had was very dry and hard to moderate the temperature. Also, parking for many people was difficult to find, due to the amount of full meeting rooms during the week.
We had fun and the service was great. The room was clean and I had a great sleep! The waterslide was looking run down, but they are apparently replacing it and putting in 2 new slides. I did find it to be overpriced as well.
Nice, clean and people friendly hotel with great service! It is quite close to airport and the hotel staff is always happy to help! WiFi is great and the service is good! It is good for family , kids as well as couples. The rooms are quiet and spacious with all basic requirements!
I absolutely love this hotel! I obtained my most recent visit by booking through an online deal site and was treated no differently than had I booked at full price. The check-in staff were more than exceptionally pleasant & helpful! The room was one of THE most cleanest I have ever stayed in!!! There is a restaurant, offsale, lounge with... more
I had a quick overnight stay in Regina and found my first stay at your hotel a great experience. An upgrade to a suite was a pleasant surprise. The room was wonderful and the staff was pleasant and helpful.
draining the basin caused a massive back up in the tub - complete with nasty black gunk. Given the quality of the room and the capability of the staff, this aspect was very disappointing
Delta Airlines sucks, and even though I was 40 minutes early for my flight, they had already left their post and made us miss our 6 am flight. Travelodge let us back in our rooms for 1pm check out for our 4pm flight.
The only thing I would have to say about this hotel is the waterslide needs some maintenance ... Has lost most of it's slip .... Otherwise a beautiful hotel !!
Overall stay very enjoyable. Would come back and would recommend this hotel to others. Room was booked through one front desk clerk who did booking on line when we mentioned that the rate on line was less than we were being quoted by the clerk over the phone. Room was very comfortable and was clean, but not "spotless" which we know is hard to achieve in hotels.
We live 2 hours from the airport so we stayed the night before and after our trip to Mexico and the hotel was convenient enough to the airport for our early flight out and our late flight in. Unfortunately they don't offer "stay and park" due to parking shortages so we had to park in long-term. Rooms were comfortable and the only complaint I'd have is the strong prevalent chlorine smell... more
I had a situation where I lost my 8 year old daughter temporarily and I started to panic, the hotel had their manager on site almost immediately and they began to help me. My daughter was able to find her way to our room, I was thankful the staff were there to help.
I like this hotel and stay here periodically while in Regina. Front desk people are friendly, the rooms are always clean, comfortable beds, free parking, and good food/drinks in the restaurant/pub. It’s close to other restaurants and other shopping (groceries, drug store, etc.). It is an older hotel, but they have done a good job of updating the facility.
The staff were very courteous and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was clean and the rest of the building seemed well maintained.
I requested a poolside room and booked approx 2 weeks ahead because my wife and I had Sunday and monday off and were going to spend the day at the pool. When I get there I am notified the pool is being shut down that monday morning.
I actually had moved the Monday stay from another hotel to this one...

Our family of 18 gathered in Regina on the weekend of the 15, 16. We had 5 rooms which were all very clean and comfortable. The staff and others working in the hotel were very courteous and would encourage anyone looking to spend family time there will be very happy with the rooms, beds, pool area and restaurant. Great hotel. Friendly staff all around. Hotel restaurant has great food and staff were quick to help. I will be back.
As a family with three young kids, We really appreciate that this hotel closes the pool and we are able to sleep even in a poolside room. This is our third stay so far.
Fabulous room! So clean, so modern and such great attentive staff. I would recomment this place to anyone!
I was here for work and wanted to be mindful of the companies dime so I chose a cheaper hotel. The room was clean although it smelled like smoke and I told this to the front desk when they called to ask how my room was but they didn't bother to rectify or care (why phone and ask how the... more
The front desk staff were very helpful and professional. The room was basic and furnished at the level you could expect, though a bit tired. The housekeeping staff were thorough and the room was cleaned promptly. The bed was comfortable and the location in the south wing was quiet. The smell of chlorine was quite strong at times when passing... more
We recently stayed at the Regina Travelodge for a conference. From the moment we entered the hotel to the time we left, we were greeted by professional, friendly, considerate, accommodating and helpful staff. We were upgraded to an executive suite and had a weekend in the lap of luxury. The beautifully appointed room featured a fireplace, four club chair seating... more
I was upgraded to a poolside room, told it would be quiet. Could hear everything happening at the pool till it closed at 10 pm. I was in the room for long so this didn't bother me. The room had been updated and was clean. The only real problem was the temperature in the room; it was too warm for... more
Your front desk staff are always so helpful and friendly, always there to make sure your stay is the best,,,, the bar staff also very pleasant and good service.
Frequent quest at this hotel for 2 nights a week since first of October 2014. Well ran and friendly staff. The lounge / bar is real handy and food is great. Lots of popular restaurants with 1-2 blocks-great location. Room service is fast. Rooms are clean-beds are comfortable-big screen TV in business class room. The fitness room is small but... more
Great hotel! The Knotted Thistle is a wonderful pub with great decor. The bed was comfortable and it was good to have a choice of pillow. My only issue is that the shower head was mounted lower than it could have been. This is a problem for tall people and a short-sighted cost saving measure.
The second year we have a reunion of former co-workers. This year we had some attend whom we hadn't seen for 42 years.
The facilities and banquet were very good as was our room. we will return next year.
we were here for meetings. The place was full all 5 days we were here- obviously well known for quality. The check in staff were friendly and efficient. The decor was good- the rooms super. Great beds, big screen TV, wifi, bar fridge, nice furniture. They have 8 or so meetings rooms that work well. They have a hot tub... more
I have stayed at the Travelodge several times in the past and have been happy with the service, but this time the toilet didn't work and I felt we should have either been moved or given a discounted rate. Maintenance came twice to alleviate the problem (it wasn't really fixed) but on both occasions we had to call twice and... more
Very comfortable stay. Liked eating across the street at earls. Enjoyed the bed and tv, slept like a baby. Good breakfast in the morning. Those muffins were delightful, keep up the good work people in the kitchen!
We did a family stay on a Saturday night before a football game. The hotel was packed. We had a poolside room, which was good. A little stuffy, but overall pretty good. Good shower and the beds were comfy. The issues we had was parking. Got to the hotel late and had to park more than a black away as... more
We have stayed at the Regina Travelodge Hotel twice in the past month and find it to be very family friendly. The rooms are neat and the front desk staff friendly. If you buy a pool side room it is the perfect place to keep the kids entertained.
We stayed at the travelodge last night for my daughters 6th birthday. The kids loved the pool area and we loved the convenience of the pool side room. The family has been running this hotel since I was a kid (I was actually their paper girl for years) - very well run hotel- we are looking forward to returning after... more
The staff that I interacted with were very coutreous and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the upgrades since my last visit are very tasteful.
Stores close staff friendly clean hotel and everything worked. Nice Pool would definitly spend more time there.
We were there with many family members for a funeral and it was an excellent place where we could gather to visit. The staff was most accommodating. The tub faucet runs steady and needs repair.
My husband and myself stayed one night. The room rate was reasonable, the room was fine and the food in the restaurant was good.
Two night stay. Bathroom very small but updated. Sheets were itchy. Busy facility. Parking difficult to find. Noisy due to the ceramic tile used in the building. Lots of screaming children.
The room was clean, the beds where very comfortable and the hotel is situated in a good location, for resturants, etc.. and easy to get to from the airport. The only issues: 1) there is no no airport shuttle (taxi was less than $20.00 to airport) 2) the bathrooms have no exhaust fans which makes the room a little humid after a shower. Overall a good place to stay.
Went for the Labour day classic. Standard hotel room. Very helpful and nice staff. Accommidated an early check in with no issues.
I chose this motel for two reason. One, because it was close to the airport for an early morning flight. Two, because it offered Wyndham Rewards points and I am a member. I was extremely disappointed when the staff told me I could not collect any Wyndham points because I booked through Expedia. If I walked in off the street, rented a room and showed my Trip Rewards card at that time, ....I... more
Room was nice but beds were not comfortable. Pool was nice, gym was well equipped except for a fan it was rather warm on there.
Hotel was over taken by a hockey camp. Who over took the pool facility. When we askes the staff to do something about them. We were told they are looking into it. However nothing was done. The rooms and halls had a bad smell. Bathroom was super small.
Just wasn't happy with used soap in shower did they clean them ????
Good location, but pool was very dirty, hair and dust balls floating. Bathroom sink was clogged took very long for water to drain. We were beside the pool so very noisy until 10:00pm.
Hotel overall is very nice and well maintained. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Two minor complaints - the floor around the hot tub was very slippery. Our kids were constantly falling, and I've never seen them fall around a pool before. Second, the air conditioning is very low powered. Running all day and night, our room was still 24-25C when we woke up. We had maintenance come look at... more
The room was a good size, the A/c was quiet and efficient, plenty of seating. Good shower head and plenty of hot water. The kids had a great time in the pool and I enjoyed the hot tub. The pool area needs some upgrading, but I understand that this is going to take place in September 2014. Breakfast in the cafe was average, kids eat free with an adult. Easy to locate off the Trans Canada hwy and... more
Was a great place to stay. The room was great...beds very comfortable.
We decided to go to Regina to see some sights--and wanted a hotel that had a pool--after checking hotels online--the Travel lodge on Albert Street South was just what we wanted--we loved our stay and really loved the pool--the staff was very friendly --the room was very clean--and cosy
Clean, comfortable beds, excellent to be able to buy food & liquor in hotel. Kids LOVED the waterslide and it was great to let them play after a long day driving. The fitness facilities are crammed into a small area with poor ventilation tho.
We were there for two nights. One night when we arrived and one when we were leaving after the week vacation. Thr service was excellent and I would come back there again.
Great room...updated, comfortable. Nice bar and restaurant. Pool area was pretty good.
This hotel is close to a lot of restaurants, a shoppers, and a 7-11. It's a very convenient location. The rooms are big and nice and include a fridge and a safe. The pool was also very nice, though there was a lot of chlorine used. If you want to swim laps, this is not the place for you, if you just want to be in the water then it's great.
We weren't informed how to use elevator to get to executive class floor we didn't realize needed to scan card so we had to ask. also no in room movies pay per view we always enjoy in room movies and we assumed there would be that service so that was abit disappointing. Staff however was very friendly and helpful.
This was a home base for a visit with family so we didn't spend much time in the hotel. The waterslide and pool was a main attraction for our young relatives - 4 and 6 years old. Location is good with restaurants and shopping nearby.
After staying at a different place almost every time I come to Regina (1+ times per year), I have to say the location and the rooms are what will keep me coming back to THIS hotel. The rooms are very clean, I had a view of the water slide area which was actually pretty cool- my own little deck on the second floor overlooking the pool area (which there was a strong odor of chlorine). The room... more
Our stay in Regina at the Travelodge was enjoyable. The pool and water slide were fantastic. We went for a visit to see the grand kids and they had a ball. Thank you
Room was comfortable and the kids loved the pool.
Nice & comfortable stay.Enjoyed the water slides also.Rooms were clean and well kept
This hotel was amazing. I especially enjoyed the restaurant food. It is within walking distance of some of the major attractions in Regina such as the legislature, art gallery and Royal Saskatchewan Museum. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. What more could you want?
Would definitely stay there again.
Overall we enjoyed our time there but there were some problems. Three times they had to shut the hot tub down while we were there and they also had to close the main pool down. The main pool is way too crowded to be very fun or safe. The hot tub was great when it was open. The water slide was good too. The lifeguards kept a good eye on things though I don't understand the no snorkel rule. The... more
Stopped by for the night on the way to Winnipeg. Stayed because kids love water slides. Pool area floor was slippery but kids had lots of fun. Room was quiet and comfortable.
Great for the grandkids while waiting for our next day flight. Water slides, pools, and hot tub were wonderful after a long drive. Rooms were very nice with comfy beds. Needed cot and microwave which were provided promptly.
Hotel was within walking distance to many restaurants. The pool area was very busy right until closing time. Our air conditioning was not working properly and the staff was very helpful and quick in resolving the problem. Unfortunately there was a very strong sewer smell in the hallways the next morning and it was not pleasant. Overall, the staff was very friendly and professional and the... more
Having set out from Calgary rather late in the day we were glad of the stoop at the travelodge in Calgary. The weather was real bad but we were welcomed by the staff. The restraunt staff were very friendly and... more
Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Water in the pool was warm and the slide was fun.
The kids had a good time in the pool. They enjoyed their pancakes at breakfast.
hoping for a breakfast to be included for this price overall it was satisfactory
When I noticed voicemail on my room phone after returning to my room to my suprise it was from the front desk making sure I was happy and had everything u needed. Now that great customer satisfaction and sometimes that's all it takes to make someone like myself happy.
After an extended stay of ~ 4 weeks here are my conclusions:
The hotel is over run by screaming children and inconsiderate families. The pool which is in a central wing of the hotel can be heard in the next wing over while in my room, this is a considerable distance.
If you are looking for a pool party with your kids this is probably a good place to go. If you are a tradesman or a...

Rooms are good. Just don't get a room facing the pool. Location is great. Close to the airport
The room was comfortable with good beds. Air conditioner was a bit old fashioned and noisy at times, but not bad. We were in a weird section of the building that required riding two separate elevator rides and a long stroll down a hallway beside the pool to get to our room. Other than that, good decent value.I had the egg breakfast sandwich via room service and it was good.
The hotel is very nicely updated. Large TV, Clean conformatbel rooms. Large waterslide and pool. Very comfortable. Prices are typical for a nice hotel $120-150.
My hotel stay was very quiet and comfortable. I had to be in Regina for some medical tests and was very pleased to be able to rest quietly in my hotel room after the tests were completed.
“The room was a nice size, clean and the staff was helpful.”
My friend and stopped here while on a road trip. The Regina Travelodge (Albert St) has fantastic service, and were eager to provide tourist activities. The room was very nice - especially the bathroom. Clean. Breakfast was good too. Easy walking distance of restaurants, drug store, etc. Highly recommended.
“My husband and I have stayed at the Travelodge many times over the past year and have always received great service. Before staying at this hotel I thought Travelodge's were dated, run-down, kind of cheap and tacky. This location is actually pretty nice, always clean, friendly staff, etc. The rooms are a lot more modern than I expected, due to the recent renovations (in the past few years). We... more
