Staff needs to be taught

Staff asks if we would like to downgrade the room from two double bed to one queen bed. Didn't explain that there is only one queen bed. Room was half the size so we had to change back to two double bed room.

It wass a good stay. Hotel is a bit older but our stay was good. Can do better with renovations.

Glad it was only for a night!

The staff was overwhelmed and slow - it took close to 1/2 hour to check in and we could not reach them by phone after we checked in. But far worse was the fact that the room was dirty with hair in the tub. We were able to switch rooms, luckily. The only positive aspect of this stay was the 24-hour shuttle.

Pretty good

Needed a place with a bed and a bath. Worked out great for what we needed. Food was average kinda bland but the staff was friendly.

Airport Hotel not near Airport

The Hotel was not in a good location to get to the airport, due to major changes in the near by roads.The room we had was not very clean and in room phone not working and the wake up call never was done.Not a good hotel if your looking to get to the airport at 5 am.

The room was small, but clean and did not smell of smokers. The hotel is supposed to be smoke-free, but the elevators smelled a bit of smokers. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel is near the airport and not too far from the center of Calgary. It is a good, reasonably priced place to stay for a day or two.

There was a loud party in the opposite room at 2 am. We called to reception four times but the hotel staff did nothing to stop that noise. Calgary is very spread out, so good transportation is essential. The hotel offers 24 hour shuttle service at no charge. Also, the staff is very helpful, and the rooms have coffee and a coffee maker.

It was the most disgusting room I have ever been in, cockroaches, beetles, dirt stained carpet, not enough natural sun, damp, door that led to another room. not safe at all. Have reported to Public Health. Want refund. Have reported to twitter & facebook.

The air conditioning was not working properly. We couldn't sleep the

Didn't like the fact that the switch to the air-conditioner had to be on "cool" position before the lamp on the desk would work. Also same in the bathroom that the light switch had to on to operate either plug. These plugs should be on separate circuits.

The hotel could have been much cleaner. The carpets of the elevator and hallways by the end of the day really needed to be vacumed. The foyer was not clean. The sofas were filthy. In the morning the elevator floors were very dirty. We're they not cleaned during the night.. The rooms were very small!

Served it's purpose.

It was what I wanted. A decent and safe place to sleep, and shower. Nights were quiet, and everything worked. I'd use them again.

Took an 1.5 to check out. Then the shuttle was full and had to take a cab which cost me $30 and the hotel was supposed to have paid. I am are return traveller needing accommodations twice a month, but will not stay here again!

I didn't like the fact that we were put into a smelly, smoke scented
room with terrible accommodations. The odor was so bad that my wife and

Great accommidations

The employees were very curtious and helpful. My room was cleaned everyday. Since I am a severe diabetic, everyone on this trip helped to take care of my needs.Would recommend for family or individual stay.They also offered a small refrigerator for my insulin.

I was astonished by the lack of professionalism at their front desk. Someone should do the gentleman (I believe his name was Sean) who was working a favor and fire him. He clearly doesn't like his job.

Given this is a Travelodge, expectations were not great, however this particular facility was in less than adequate condition, rooms felt shabby and old, and staff was less than welcoming upon arrival.

I was not looking to pay a lot of money for my brief stay in Calgary. For the money I paid, I received great value: an excellent location near the airport and the main highway, a clean room, courteous staff, excellent view of downtown and a very comfortable bed. I would stay here again.

Comparing rates, I found this to be somewhat smaller than I am used to for the same price. Even increasing your price point by $10 per night, you can usually get a much nicer room. The staff, however, were phenomenal, fun and easy to work with, and the locaiton is fabulous (if you have access to a vehicle).

Acceptable and convenient

We enjoyed the small indoor pool. We actually stayed twice--the first time our room was near the elevator which was very noisy. When we requested a room away from the elevator, the staff was very accommodating. The rooms are small but comfortable.

Barebones hotel but still good value

The hotel is very dated and needs a major upgrade. I've stayed there two times over a one-year period and on both occasions the key cards would not work properly, had to be changed and then required 8-10 tries each time to get the room door open. Very frustrating situation after a 12 hour plane trip.

Way over-priced and dreary

Hotel halls, carpets and rooms were depressing browns. It may have been clean but you couldn't tell from the dark dirty looking colors. The window in the room had no screen. The only ventilation was a wall unit that had a wall switch with only 2 positions - heat and cool. So you either had to have cool or cold air blowing in or hot air. Dated, but clean and functinal

The hotel is somewhat dated but very clean and well kept. The personnel were very helpful. Access to the internet is somewhat tricky unless you are all wireless as lower floors are not wired for non-wireless hook-up. An older hotel that could use a major upgrade fairly soon.
