Stay there every time I'm in town.

Would recommend to anyone! Lower rates than most other hotels and much nicer and cleaner rooms than other hotels I've stayed at in Timmins. Most of all they are renovating to upgrade the hotel and it looks like it going to turn out really nice. Most rooms have been renovated already.

Interesting stay.

The room was nice and cozy. lots of space but trying to sleep was hard because the hallways smelt smoky.

Overall, the staff was excellent, the room was clean, the complimentary breakfast had lots of options and the location was good for shopping and restaurants.

Leaky Hotel

The literature said this was a 'recently renovated' hotel. We found no evidence of it being recently renovated. The night we were there the hall ceilings leaked in several places. It was not an over all pleasing stay.

Room was ok, however threw out the night when the air condition came on it sounded like a large ice maching dropping ice all the time. Every time it came on it woke me up!

Falls advertizing!! Bearly any chanells on tv and no movies available to rent! If you cant rent a movie dont advertise it in the panflip!! And front desk employe that was there when i got there to book in was outside having a smoke seen us walk in seen us wating at the front dest for almost 10 mimuts!!

Old and run down

Our room felt so old. The ceiling and walls were peeling, the heating/cooling was sketchy and falling apart.
The faucet was spitting and things felt worn out.
Was not impressed at all.
We stayed on the second floor. Apparently first floor was rennovated. They should avoid renting the second floor until it is too.

Hockey team

Chequing in was easy and fast. At night we had a special room to meet with our group of parents so our children could get their rest. In the morning the continental breakfast is appreciated and the assortment is decent.

Nice reno in the main floor rooms. However the reno didn't extend to the bathroom which was unfortunate. Floors at the far end of the room closest to the window was freezing! You could feel the cold seeping in through carpet. Pillows are like bags with cotton balls in them...very uncomfortable pillows.

Reasonable hotel to stay in Timmins

Although my expectations were high but i realise that considering the fact that Timmins is a small town with limited facilites, the hotel overall provided comfort and convenience. A reasonable place to stay in.

We only stayed for one night to shop. Hotel is close to shopping which was great. Staff were very nice and helpful. There is a continental breakfast but we overslept so can't rate that.

Everyone at the inn is so nice! I started out with a terrible trip to Timmins, but when I finally arrived at the Timmins Inn and Suites the employees made my trip so much better. You go in as strangers, but you leave as friends!

From start to finish we are very impressed with Timmins Inn & Suites!
Friendly service! Spacious, attractive clean rooms. Fridge, microwave,

For my very first time in TIMMINS, I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff at the HOTEL were very friendly and helpful. A beauty in the city of gold

While the hotel is a little west of the city of Timmins proper, it is worth the drive. The staff is fantastic and the rooms spacious and clean. They also offer some great value added packages for the rooms, including local restaurants, movies and Steam Whistle Pilsner!

The lobby smells like industrial cleaners trying to cover up something worse. The common spaces are filthy. My room was little better and falling apart. There's no duvet. The towels are like sandpaper and as large as a tea towel. I estimate nothing's been renovated (or fixed) since the 80's.

The most help staff and Management I've work with

The staffs were very helpful to me and my participants for the workshop that we present there. Don Padley Gm is the most professional person that I have every work with to accommodate to our needs and friendless person you will ever meet. We will be planning more conferences and workshop there in the future.

I stay here on business once a month and have noted the improvements that have been made over the last year. The beds have comfortable mattresses and pillows, matching duvets and bedskirts. I stayed here for the week and there were flies in my room every night!!! complimentary were not replenished and towels were stained. Not very good security either. The emergency door at the back can't shut and there's no cameras back there either.

Good for business travel

I had a suite that I found to be rather large. It was comfortable. The hotel has recently changed hands and needs some upgrading, but this did not affect the comfort of my stay.

Looks like a dive from the outside but it was actually clean when you walked inside. Needs major updating including new carpets and beds. Front staff was OK. Skip the free breakfast next morning and go to Tims or somewhere else. Was OK for 1 night stay but would likely try the new Super 8 next time.
