This luxurious property is situated just where the highest tides in the world sweep in and out each day, a mere 150 feet away! The elegant guest rooms, some of which have magnificent bay views and balconies, are furnished with antiques but have contemporary luxuries; some have whirlpool spa baths. There are also two rental cottages, one of which is right on the beach. The dining room serves... more

No Luxury Here!
September 17, 2013

This inn, advertised as luxury, certainly was not! We called to inform staff of a 9pm arrival but when we arrived they could not find our reservation. They told us they had one room left and it was for someone else. I suggest you always carry your confirmation. We had the confirmation from expedia and that got us the room. We were placed in a third floor attic room, with awful towels, two small... more

Great Breakfast
July 05, 2013

We were just there for one night but had a great time - We arrived in fog and grey so not sure if we didn't see much in St Martin's or if there isn't much to see, but we were pleased that dinner was served at the Tidal Inn so we didn't have to go in search of sustenance. Dinner was very good as was the breakfast included in the room cost. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was the... more

Cozy Getaway Place
October 27, 2012

Rain or shine the Tidal Watch Inn is a great place to stay! The rooms are cozy. Rudy and Kathy are very gracious hosts who want to make sure you enjoy your stay. We were fortunate enough to be there the night they served fresh lobster for dinner. Fabulous!

Comfortable accomodations in a beautiful area
October 26, 2012

The Tidal Watch Inn is an old home decorated in period pieces. The rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. The owners and staff are very gracious and have lots of information to share about the history of the home, town, and natural wonders in the area.

Nice Inn close to the sea
September 03, 2012

From the outside the place looked in need of a paint which worried me a little. We couldn’t find the car park at first so at first parked directly outside. The large parking lot is actually off the main road, just before turning. The gentleman was very friendly and helpful on arrival.
Having booked through an online site I was under the... more

We stayed at the Tidal Watch Inn for one night in July 2012 while on our honeymoon. Great location, close to Fundy Trail, world famous Sea Caves. Our room was on the second floor at the top of the stairs...HUGE ensuite with separate sitting area! Very soft bed and view of the ocean off to the left. We orderd glasses... more

B&B experience
August 01, 2012

The building itself is rich with history and the staff are very willing to let you know more about it and the area. The rooms had all you needed and they felt as if you stepped back in time, very quaint. We had a great supper (reasonably priced) and breakfast at the Inn where we enjoyed chatting with the friendly... more

July 31, 2012

This Inn feels more like a B&B. The owner and staff are full of historical information and are very accommodating. They are very nice and we can't say enough good things about them. I suggest staying in one of the newer buildings as they are a little more updated. The main house is pretty but the bathrooms don't have fans/vents... more

We Love the Tidal Watch Inn and St. Martins
July 31, 2012

In fact, we liked St. Martins so much that we bought a piece of land in West Quaco where we will eventually build our oceanside retreat. The only negative about building on our land is that we won't have an excuse to stay at the Tidal Watch Inn anymore but we will certainly drop by to visit as the owners... more

An original old three level house with nice character. The quad room was good value and the breakfast a real bonus. The owner really knows the area and he is very happy to chat. July 21, 2012

We stayed here on our way to and from Cape Breton Island so just a stop over not a destination. We liked the easy access to the beach but it isn't the type of beach you can actually walk. We did walk to the Sea Caves from there at low tide but it was not a pleasant walk at all.... more

Don't Miss St. Martin's and the Tidal Watch Inn
July 17, 2012

Many people skip St. Martin's as a place to stay or just take a day trip to the Sea Caves. We used St. Martin's as a base for our day trips to Hopewell Rocks and Bay of Fundy National Park. St. Martin's has its own charms with the sea caves (which you can enter and SHOULD NOT MISS at low... more

There were positives and negatives. Breakfast was wonderful ,served by a very cheerful and energetic waitress.Staff were friendly.Room was clean. I loved this place! Adorable furnishings. Comfortable. If like me, you shy away from inns because you worry about privacy - fear not. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and the rooms are cozy and private. The tides are a short walk. The breakfast was wonderfully delicious and the service excellent!

September 11, 2011

We arrived just before hurricane Irene, (see picture for the sea the following morning,) and the owner wasn't sure that we would make it, however, all was well, and the Inn had made adequate preparations.

We booked a night's stay at the Tidal Watch Inn because we

July 27, 2010

We stayed for 3 nights in this absolutely lovely location; however , short of giving good driving directions the owners seem oblivious to the guests' needs, poor food preparation in the kitchen, and most of all, the poor state of the building itself. September 04, 2009

We booked the Honeymoon suite at the inn, which is their highest price room at $200 a night. In our experience in other inns in the Maritimes, this gets you a nicely furnished and spacious room. August 28, 2009

Let me start by saying the ceiling of our room leaked. Quaco Inn is positioned as a luxury accommodation.
