Family and I came here as a treat at the end of a pleasant Canada Day. There were a lot of options on the menu, and it took us sometime to find determine what we wanted to eat. We had burgers and fries and to be honest it took a long time for our food to arrive. When the burgers... more
Our grand daughther had her Ballad recital at the Rose Theather and it was also the Brampton Day Parade so the restaurant was conveniently located right outside the theater, we had lunch with the grands and inlaws it was much better than one of the other fast food places near by, we were able to sit on the patio and... more
My husband and I went to the Works in Brampton on June 19, 2014. Lots of choices on the menu for burgers. The tower of onion rings were awesome for $10.00. The burgers were average price of $14.00 so you think you're going to get this amazing burger.....wrong. The beef burgers were had were over cooked and dry. We sat... more
My son and his wife took my wife and I out for a burger and beer. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a great burger and a nice craft beer. The quality of the food I would say is fantastic and at a competitive price to a kelseys. The atmoshere is relaxed and cozy. Will definitely return to... more
Love the character of this restaurant. The food is very good. The variety of the burgers makes every visit different. Although a little pricey the quality makes it well work it. For an upscale burger with a great craft beer, this is the place to go to in Brampton.
This is the 2nd time my wife and I have come here. The food is great but the service is painfully slow. The staff seem disorganized. We have been here 15 minutes and have not even been asked if we want a drink.
i hadn't seen my daughter in over a year and she and her boyfriend took me, my youngest, and my nephew to The Works. i'd always been intrigued by the outside décor but the inside made me smile - it's all power and manufacturing related equipment: the tops of hydro poles with the transformers, old circuit panels, the front plate... more
My second visit to The Works yesterday was ok. The food was tasty but not as hot as it should have been. The bowl of fries was mostly the last broken bits, an inch long or shorter. The choice of toppings for the burgers is exceptional. It is a new franchise of this Ottawa based chain and I feel they... more
At least this chick does! I ordered the Chicks Dig Bacon and its was AMAZING! A chicken breast wrapped in four strips of smoked bacon and deep fried. Topped with lettuce, tomato, havarti cheese & a crispy onion ring with a choice of side for $14.91(+tax). YUM. The service was fast and regular. We walked in, waited maybe 30 seconds... more
We were here on a Saturday prior to going out....a couple of tables were taken when we arrived, and shortly all were taken with some folks waiting. The Works is a chain - I find the burger list is long but once we decided what we wanted we enjoyed our burgers. We had one with fries and one with the... more
I took my family twice over the holiday's and it was great both times. The food was amazing and the choices were great. We will definitely visit again.
I read the reviews for this restaurant and since I felt like a burger, I decided to give it a try. We were seated at a table right away and given menus. Then we waited... and waited... and waited. Note that there were only 4 tables with diners when we arrived, and one left. Finally after more than 20 minutes,... more
The place is so cool! The service was simply above and beyond, and for a restaurant this is really saying something. We got a real sense of kindness and warmth from the staff, perhaps an expression of how passionately the Chef and his team are doing their job. The highlight my Burger Sopranos Pesto, grilled eggplant, sliced tomato & havarti... more
Me and my wife were going to a show @ Rose theater and decided to give this burger bistro a try. Server recommend that I try Porkgasm and Son of beach for the wife. I must admit this was one of the best burgers I had....definitely will be coming back,.. finally a decent place to eat before a show.
Love this place! You can get great tasting burgers for your money! Sooo many choices from turkey, elk, beef, chicken, and veggie! There onion ring tower is a must as a starter!!! Whether you eat meat or not, this place has something for everyone!
Being a man that loves chicken, The Fight Club Burger was one of the best I ever had in my life!!
The chicken golden brown and fresh topping house sauce good presentation
We were there on a Sunday afternoon. Santa was in the market square along with a Merry-Go-Round and a variety of displays sponsored by Lowes. We were a group of 8 and there were only about 6 other people in the restaurant. The service was EXTREMELY slow and we waited almost 40 minutes (at least) for our food. When it... more
My wife had visited the one in Milton and recommended we go there tonight. I didn't expect much as it is a burger joint. We ordered the fried pickles to start which we're very good. However, when we asked for side plates to for our appetizer, we were given cracked plastic bowls. I also had to request cutlery for our... more
Service was very slow but the owner said he just sent most of his staff on break (we came at an odd time).
The porkgasm burger was quite good, the caramalized onions were an amazing sauce to go with the burger. The "one night stand burger" was alright, it was basically a chunk of avocado (not guacamole) paired with a...
