The Listel Hotel - One of downtown Vancouvers' beautiful boutique hotels on fashionable Robson Street
Art and accommodations come together in this hotel on the city's most vibrant shopping street. Gallery-floor guest rooms and suites display original works by Canadian artists and pieces from France, England, Japan, and the United States. Rooms on the museum floor are decorated with works from contemporary First Nations artists. Custom-made furniture on both floors complements the art. The hotel... more
What makes the Listel unique is its artwork in the guest rooms, meeting spaces, and common areas -- but it's the headline Artist Series Suites that delight the most with collections by artists such as Otto Rogers, Carmelo Sortino, Bernard Gantner, and Jean Pierre Cassigneul. Hallways and suites on the top two Gallery floors are decorated with original pieces from the Buschlen Mowatt Gallery or,... more
Great experience at this little gem! Super friendly staff, comfortable rooms, free wi-fi and happy hour, reasonably priced and great location. They are a green hotel, with charming perks like cookies at check-out and complimentary french press coffee delivered to your room upon request! I enjoyed the art throughout and the stay was seamless. Will stay here again!
Great place to stay! great service! but what's a good hotel with horrible wifi.... /:
It's a lovely space.
My favorite perk, complimentary French pressed coffee delivered to your door every morning at your desired time. I spent a whopping 14 nights at this hotel and it the coffee and the staff really eased the homesick feels we attain when being away for so long. The hotel is very artsy, gallery floors featuring art in every room.
The hotel prides itself on being very "green"...

It's a very charming hotel. A bit old though. It is located in the heart of everything. A very green hotel (i.e., recycable bins inside to room). They have free wine tasting during the evening. You also get complimentary cookies after your stay. They leave them in your car. The parking is about $40 and valet only. I've always stayed here about 5 times but seems like the last time I've stayed... more
I travel and stay in Vancouver 1 week every month coming from Ontario. I try every hotel downtown below the $500/night mark. My stay was normal amd honestly nothing memorable. It was so insignificant that I needed to focus to remember the room. Even though its an expedia VIP and thats what i usually go with their VIP was get a free local drink at the bar lol. Compared to other hotels i stayed... more
Best service I've had in a long time anywhere. Staff was amazing from all aspects and the rooms were clean. Great downtown location.
Our preferred hotel in Vancouver is the Listel. It is centrally located near restaurants and is only a 12 minute walk to Stanley Park. Every room has unique art. Service is personal; all staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable although looking ever so slightly tired now. Overall this hotel offers very good value for money.
Upscale hotel near the park. Overpriced for the amenities offered.
Great location. It's close and walkable to restaurants and all attractions. Room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Room attendant is very attentive and friendly. Stay over service is excellent. Housekeepers smile and say "hi" in the hallway. Front desk staffs are very helpful with directions and tour information. Sorry I didn't catch any names but they are awesome. I had a wonderful stay.
Good location, ok room, kinda smelly, a lot nicer for a similar price in the same area keep looking
The Listel was the perfect place to stay for us. From the hotel we were easily able to walk to most everything we wanted to do including the waterfront, excellent shopping, and literally hundreds of restaurants. We loved that the Listel provided free wine at Happy Hour and fresh pressed coffee in the morning, delivered to our room--very nice touches! We will definitely stay there again!
We enjoyed our stay, no complaints. Lots of perks: easy walking distance to restaurants, venues, transportation & attractions; complimentary french press coffee delivered at no charge to our room each morning; complimentary still or sparkling water on tap on our floor. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
Nice art theme throughout the hotel. The bed was comfortably firm and the pillows nice. The best part was the friendly wonderful staff. They upgraded our room and we had a great view of the water. We ended up on the top floor with a patio and it was so nice! I would stay here again. Oh also the free wine tasting at 5 in the lobby was good.
My friend and I recently stayed at this hotel during our girls getaway trip in Vancouver. The staff was most welcoming and helpful, while the hotel was located centrally within walking distance of many Vancouver sightings. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The only downside is I ended up facing the AC unit at night and ended up felling pretty chilly the entire night. The room didn't... more
Kind of pricey for not the biggest room -- does *not have a fridge, so very basic accommodations. But friendly staff and nice amenities -- gave us a glass of wine to taste when we arrived and free drink coupons. Also free wifi. More stars if it was more affordable.
ロブソンstreetにあり、ショッピングにも、スタンレーパークにも、また帰国の際の交通機関利用にも便利な場所でした。 ホテルには、冷水と炭酸水がいつでも飲める施設があり水をいちいち買う必要はありませんでした。
Just got off Alaska cruise in Vancouver, taxi to downtown and checked in The Listel Hotel. I was 10 in the morning and staff had no problem gave us a room to check in. that is such as relief so that we did not have to store the luggage and worried about no room later. The room was nice, clean and spacious. There were water and sparkling water offered for free and French Pressed Coffee delivery... more
Chambre sympa avec deux grands lits confortables et une belle télévision ', lecteur de dvd et petit frigo Quartier calme si chambre côté cour. La salle de bain est petite Il manquerait un coffre de sécurité
Located within walking distance to downtown, restaurant, Stanley Park. And staff is extremely helpful with suggestions on how to get there including public transit. Rooms are clean. You have the option of turning off AC and opening a windowThere is a focus on art everywhere including your room. Usually ate breakfast at Forage. Love the eggs Benedict. would stay here again. Dependable wifi.
Parking can be tricky. The Forage restaurant for breakfast is delicious-make reservations or be prepared to wait.
great hotel- excellent art work displayed in trendy lobby and all around hotel. Believe they were museum pieces on loan. great location in safe area. Excellent restuarant and bar. Very friendly knowledgable servers who knew about the city.. Front desk friendly but did not know area. Great location. Would stay there again.
Everything met or exceeded expectations, including the friendly staff and the artwork.
Came to feel like home during our week there. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location good to walk any direction to downtown destinations. Enjoyed window seat in room as place to relax and see street view below. Morning coffee service to room and afternoon wine reception in lobby are nice touches.
My boyfriend and I stayed 5 nights, and it was wonderful. Every staff member that I met was upbeat and helpful, and not just upon arrival/departure. The cleaning staff were lovely and always eager to tidy and clean. We lucked out having a room with a really nice view of Robson and a peek of the waterfront and mountains. Location is perfect - we walked everywhere with very few exceptions (and... more
Easy to shopping and going to waterfront. I love it so much! Very good hotels and people!
Centrally located in Vancouver's West End, so you can walk to most everything you want to!
The room is comfortable, it is well located and the staff was great
Great location and view! Very spacious, quiet rooms. Complimentary wine in the afternoon and coffee service in the morning. Or there is Starbucks across the street.
Me and a couple of my friends decided to take a two day adventure to Vancouver for fun. We booked the Listel hotel because of the high rating and decent price. We were very pleased with the hotel's proximity to all the downtown action. We walked to the main shopping district as well as to the bars at night without a problem. The hotel was clean and spacious. However, the staff were hit or miss.... more
Great place to stay. Hotel is modern, has a great location, awesome staff, great beds, quiet rooms, free wifi, and a bonus free daily wine tasting. The negatives are few, however mentionable. Our room had a funky lingering stink and the shower had zero water pressure.
The Listel had great checkin experience. We were quickly ushered into our room. Great staff, hotel and location. Staff was very open to change our reservation with expedia and they did. I liked the displayed Art work in the front, lobby and hotel and room walls. The room looked clean and we settled in , just as we were about to sleep, we discovered a huge stain on the bed sheets when & it had... more
It was crazy easy to go from their ot the stores ...not to crazy about the traffic ne'er place to get away from the kids ...not sure about the restaurant near the shop little to pricey and still hungry lol
Hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful such as providing suggestions and directions to attraction in Vancouver. They provided information on bus routes, costs and the exact change needed to get to the attractions. After an unusually hot day returning to the hotel, fruit and lime flavored was provided in the lobby. The rooms were spacious and security to the rooms was excellant. It... more
Perfect boutique hotel on Robson Street which was a great central location. Very chic and contemporary. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for its location and reasonable price. Loved it!
It was a pleasant stay, the staff was very helpful. The location cannot be better, right on Robson Street, near all the important places: Stanley Park, the Convention Center, all the shopping streets, etc. The only drawback is that there are no safe boxes in the rooms, but valuables must be secured in a common safe deposit off the lobby.
Great staff. Everyone was very nice and very helpful. The location is fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone.
What a great hotel! The area is amazing and full of great shops and food. The hotel staff is very helpful and welcoming. Absolutely loved staying on a gallery floor with fresh coffee every morning brought to the room. My favorite amenity was the chilled, filtered water on the floor available sparkling or flat. Absolutely fantastic! Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel... more
In Vancouver to attend World Cup Football match between Canada and England and Listel was convenient to BC Place and airport transportation. Staff very friendly and helpful; room was clean and comfortable for 4 adults. Great stay, would go back.
We loved this hotel! They were friendly and would provide the answers to any questions! I also loved That when you valet your car, they leave a couple cookies on your dashboard with a sweet note! Very fun, relaxed and pretty hotel in a great location!
The room was very quiet, the facilities very nice.
The Listel hotel is in a perfect location for walking to Stanley Park and all the shops along Robson street. It is a bit far to walk to Gastown or Yaletown when dressed up but a short, cheap cab ride to either area. The staff are wonderful and gave us a bunch of great restaurant recommendations and places to go for drinks/nightlife. The rooms were very clean and I actually stayed in two... more
Super great hotel staff! Really seemed to care. Will be back.
Somewhat dated rooms. Good location. No parking other than pricey valet lot.
We decided to stay overnight in Vancouver at the end of our cruise to do a little site seeing .we found excellent reviews of this hotel on hotels . Listel Hotel is located near good shopping on Robson. 10-30 min walk to lots of tourist areas. Very environmental aware hotel. Beautiful art and sculptures all around. Staff was excellent and quick to draw a map to destinations. Free coffee service delivered at door each morning. Free sparkling water on 2 floors. No view at all!
The location was perfect for us - near restaurants, Stanley Park, public transportation. Our teenage son loved the Bubble World restaurant across the street with Boba drinks and Xbox games. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved all the art in the hallways too. The restaurant downstairs was lovely with beautiful, innovative food and drinks. On weeknights,... more
We loved this hotel so much we didn't want to leave. The location is great and the service wonderful! The morning delivery of your choice of french pressed coffee or tea was great! Free wine in lobby in the afternoon. Room was clean and comfortable - staff very nice and friendly!
Very friendly hotel staff, beautiful hotel right in the heart of Robson Street. Luis was wonderful and made several terrific recommendations for food and gelato! The rooms were very clean and well maintained, updated. Valet staff were prompt and very friendly. The only area I would improve is the comfort of the beds. They are stiff and not all together flat. The pillows were of uneven loft and... more
The Listell is a green, ecologically aware hotel. They also host an art gallery and have very interesting art scattered throughout the hotel and in the rooms. The on-site restaurant is excellent and priced reasonably for Vancouver
This hotel could not been any better for our stay in Vancouver! We walked to everything! Great shopping and food choices all around the neighborhood! The staff was there if you needed them and so friendly. Our room was quiet and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Compared to the monster chain hotels this hotel was much better, cost and location.
It was pretty much what I expected (great neighborhood, clean) but the rooms were older than I imagined. Bathroom fixtures seemed outdated 80s-ish, and the view of parking lot and nearby apartments not so scenic. Everywhere were claims to an environmentally conscious "green" hotel, but what's with that large piece of preprinted form we must hang on the door to request coffee in the morning?... more
This is a great smallish hotel right on Robson St. which is the street with all good restaurants and stores. We walked everywhere. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel has all the amenities of a 4 star large hotel at a much lower price. Everything is 1st class and the restaurant in it, Forage, is very good also. Do not hesitate to book here....you will not be disappointed!
Happy with our stay.
It was fine. Not what I expected a little disappointing. Have water or coffee out in the lobby nothing.
Staff very friendly and helpful when needed. Room clean and nice. Disappointed that we booked a king size bed and got a queen size.
I came here for one reason and one reason only. Rumors that they had the best scones in the city. It's a hidden Vancouver secret that only some foodie die hards know, nothing that is published. I came here to have some tea and scones and everything that certain foodies were saying was true....these are the best damn scones every. Nicely crunchy with a nice sugar coating on the inside, very good... more
Not bad for the price. Not sure how it was rated 4 stars. I travel a lot and not up to par with most of the 4 star hotels I have been to. Our room looked nothing like the pictures.
This is a 3 star hotel - but for the price it deserves 4 stars. The lobby has been updated but the rooms are in need of a makeover. The wifi was just ok. It is conveniently located - an easy walk to many places. It's a great deal overall - would stay here again.
For $100 USD per night in the heart of Vancouver on Robson Street - 4 stars. The hotel is about value and location - it is located close to the shopping on Robson, walking distance to Stanley Park, the Vancouver Art Museum and other local attractions. The hotel is furnished in a contemporary style, but the facility is old and the age is showing. The pressure head on the shower was questionable,... more
My friend and I stayed here over New Year's 2015. It was perfect.
Check in was a breeze and the cost for 3 nights here was only around $100 USD a night.
The room was clean, had a large HD tv, comfortable beds and the FREE WIFI was excellent. Our Apple and Android products worked great the entire stay.
The location is also perfect. Robson Street has a ton of stuff to do. There are all kinds...

This hotel has always had a great location, and super friendly staff. The restaurant downstairs is better now, but so noisy. Great food choices within walking distance, as is the light rail from YVY. And the rooms are quite large, though the showers need an upgrade. I would also recommend moving the desk away from the front of the TV. Otherwise, all is good here, as always!
Love, love, love this place. It's simple and unassuming and provides exceptional service.
I stay at the Listel frequently and give up my large chain loyalty points without a hesitation. The gallery rooms come with free french press coffee every morning, the restaurant is fab and I can't say enough about the staff, they seem to have been there for years and they seem really happy. The Listel...

I really liked this place It was clean and comfortable, and a great location. I loved the artwork in the rooms and halls so much, I bought a piece. I think this is a great concept, that really benefits local artists. More hotels should consider this instead of the cheap manufactured c@!p.

Sweet little arts-themed hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver. We stayed in a room on the gallery level - which was comfortable and had an air of recent renovation. A fresh pot of French press was delivered in the morning, which was a nice touch. (Yes, tea is an option if you are not a coffee drinker.)
From the hotel, you are steps away from shopping, dining Canada Place on the harbour....

Meh. The lobby was great and the staff was so friendly. But, the rooms were nasty. For $350 a night, I would expect to get more than a 'motel feel' in the room. Everything was so dated and old and just gross. I was seriously so disappointed after paying as much as we did to have their nice lobby get my hopes up only to be let down when walking into a room that made me feel like I was staying in... more
Good service, clean room, upgraded to gallery floor which included free morning french press coffee. Staff was friendly would recommend and visit again.
Their gym is new and close to unused in the side room on the 2nd floor.
Got in very late and had to check out at noon. Nice staff, nice room. Had a very nice breakfast downstairs. Enjoyed the art all over the place, and its location was ideal. All in all, would like to have had several days there.
3.5 stars. Decent hotel in superb downtown Vancouver location; close to shops, restaraunts, transportation, and attractions. Consistnetly one of the lower-priced hotels in the area. Front desk is friendly and generally helpful.
Notable:
- The lobby is modern but the rooms are Holiday Inn circa 1995, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but may catch you by surprise.
- The bed and/or pillow...

We had a nice stay here in July. It's a nice downtown location, not far from Stanley Park and good shopping on Robson street. Only downfall was parking was pricey-$36/day!
The staff was pleasant, the beds were sturdy, the bathrooms needed updating, the tile is old, toilets are not low flush, but showers are super water saving, go figure? The sheets felt worn and the ,exercise room was adequate. For the most part, it was a decent stay. We did not feel that the $36/per night cost to park our car was reasonable, but it was for the valet. Guess they have to make up... more
I came to the Listel Hotel for two days after staying at a different hotel for business for a few days prior in Vancouver. Staff was great and so was the food. A good respite from a long trip. Would do it again.
Booked 3 rooms for the family and we really enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff were so nice and helpful, especially Kelly. Even though it wasn't quite checkin time (3:00 pm) yet, she checked the system and saw that our rooms were ready so she checked us in. Cute boutique hotel with a high level of comfort at a very reasonable cost. I would stay here again without hesitation. It's conveniently located near dozens of restaurants in the shopping area of Robson. Rooms are off the street, so it is quiet. We loved the location most. It was within walking distance for so many things!! Love Robson St.!!
Solid 3 stars if I was a tourist staying here, haven't been here other than the lobby which is a bit on the tiny side, and you're literally side by side with the reservation ppl at the front.
Good, safe location, with plenty to eat around here, and the 'outside' shopping just a few blocks away, though you're far from the main mall Pacific Centre.
The hotel has nothing to stand out from the many other 4-star hotels in Vancouver but the staff is what makes it a great place to stay. Extremely helpful bunch!!
I recently stayed here while on Business but the hotel would also be great for a vacation visit to the city. Easy walking down to the convention center and harbor
Staff were really great.
Also about a 15 min walk to city center sky train station
The staff at this hotel was very friendly and accommodating. Even though we didn't spend much time in the room, the accommodations were very comfortable. The restaurant, Forage, was top notch. We would definitely stay here again!
The staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and provide me with helpful information. Rooms were small but nice, clean, and had modern finishings . The beds were really comfortable and the complimentary morning tea/coffee delivered to my room was a nice extra.
The Listel Hotel really made my solo trip to Vancouver comfortable and easy! It's in a perfect location to experience so many of the gems of Vancouver. one night stop over, great location for restaurant choices, walk or drive but parking is big additional cost anywhere in this area. We were able to park on street but on busy night you will need to use parking lot which will add another $35
Staff was professional, friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel was lovely and the room was extremely comfortable. It was nice to have a fridge as well.
I had a rental car while in Vancouver and it was so convenient to have it parked in a secure lot that was onsite for a reasonable rate. Thanks for the lovely stay.
This is a good little boutique hotel in downtown Vancouver. Clean and a nice hotel. Excellent location. And a cool little restaurant in the lobby. Great place. I would recommend it to anyone staying in downtown Vancouver
This distinctive 'Art' hotel in the centre of the most famous shopping district since Rodeo Drive, offers a calm oasis in the heart of Vancouver. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Listel. The British Columbian artwork added a welcome dimension to our experience. We particularly liked our room on the Gallery floor, which was spacious and attractive, and came with French press coffee in the morning.
A group of friends met in Vancouver for a weekend a chose to stay at the Listel. We all had great rooms with no issues. I love the decor. It is close to everything! There is even a Starbucks across the street (and 2 more in walking distance of course).
the service at this hotel was very professional I did find that the room was not nearly as nice as on the photos, eventhough we were upgraded to a nicer room. the room was clean and tidy however, which in the end is more important than nice decor. and the price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.... more

Friendly, courteous, highly professional staff. Situated right in the middle of beautiful downtown Vancouver yet our room was quiet. My husband and I had a great night's sleep in a beautiful and comfortable room. I am happy to highly recommend The Listel Hotel.
The room was charming and comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is in downtown close to restaurants and stores and within walking distance of the water and park. The hotel exceeded my expectations.
This is a great property -- the rooms are lovely, very quiet and comfortable. I like the gym. You cant beat the location...Highly recommend dining at Forage. And the staff at the front desk are extremely friendly.

Overall I was very happy with this hotel and one of the staff members (Louise) was very warm and helpful. The service, room and location was excellent, the only problem was valet parking which was a bit expensive. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Do not stay anywhere else when you want to experience downtown vancouver. Put your car in the underground parking area and walk everywhere. This property does not have a pool or hottub but that is all it does not have. Staff is excellent.
We only stayed at one hotel in Vancouver, but I cannot imagine you'll find a better option. The Listel Hotel is beautiful, in a perfect location and with amazing staff. We chose the Listel Hotel for its location, and because it is essentially and art gallery. We were not disappointed. The staff members were pleasant and helpful, the suite was clean and comfortable, and nicely decorated.
Great place to stay. For those visiting Vancouver, who may not be familiar with the city, I would recommend this as a good home base. It is a great location & anywhere more than a 20 min. walk we could easily hop the bus not far outside the hotel front door & make our way transferring onto a skytrain taking us virtually everywhere we needed to go. It was quiet on the 6th fl. & we enjoyed a great comfortable night sleep.
We stayed on the museum floor. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, right on Robson Street surrounded by shops and restaurants, and just a short stroll to the waterfront. Great for a casual, overnight to short-term stay. Right on Robson where there are lots of restaurants and shopping. Close to the West End and Stanley Park. Room was satisfactorily clean. Bath and bed linens were fine. Love that WiFi is included in room rate. Best recycle reuse program I have seen in any BC hotel.
We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite with magnificent views of the ocean. The hotel is within walking distance of excellent restaurants, shopping, Stanley Park and Granville Island. We ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both meals were incredible. The staff was warm, welcome and very helpful.
Our stay was average. Room was clean except for the window where the birds were roosting. Bird do-do all over the window...yuk. Could use a magnifying mirror in the bathroom for those of us that are over 50 especially since the lighting is so low.
I booked this hotel through TravelZoo for 99 CAD. Not only was it great value, but I was very pleasantly surprised with how nice the room was. Terrific staff, lovely clean and green hotel. Great location for seeing downtown Vancouver. Enjoyed our breakfast downstairs, and there are lots of other great restaurants nearby, the Thai food at Khunnai Chang on Denman was delicious.

I stayed at the Listel for a brief 3 days, but was very happy with my choice. It is always hard picking a hotel long distance, but this was a great decision. I especially loved the bonus of having a free pot of tea delivered to my room each morning through room service!
We booked 2 x 2 night deals and were not disappointed. The room was clean, spacious and the non working coffee maker was replaced within minutes of telling the front desk. He even waited to make sure the replacement was working ok.

We loved our stay. Staff were amazing, beds comfortable and the complimentary french press in the morning was a great touch. Great location, equal distance to seawall or shopping. Good food at the hotel restaurant but only open limited hours during the week - lots of other places around to eat though.
Comfortable, welcoming vibe in a great location. Staff always professional, kind and welcoming! Prob my 8th stay on business and will always return.
Forage Restaurant is very good! Have the chowder!!!
Great location for visiting downtown, west end, english bay. 15 minute walk to Gastown and Yaletown. Many restaurants nearby. VERY friendly staff. Nice and quiet rooms. Has a reputable restaurant on site.
Always feel welcomed. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Check in and out is smooth. Location is great and quiet. Atttended business meetings here were everyone very helpfull. I will stay here again.
I wish i had found out the availability of breakfast before i left the hotel. We would have definitely gone to try that. Listel offered an artful decor with very pleasant and warm staff. I have no problem going back again.
I was there for a meeting. The service was great. The place is eco friendly and clean. The only drawback was that the iron stand was not working properly. I had a hard time opening and closing it but other than that the place was very clean and the food is great too. The staff is warm.
This is a super convenient, clean, lovely place to stay. The added touch of french press coffee delivered to your room in the morning was a treat! :) Would not hesitate to stay here again! Highly recommend!
The location is good and always lots of cabs outside the door waiting so perfect for business. Restaurant is great food and service. The rates are good and the hotel is clean. The only area of improvement that is important would be for customer service when checking in and answering questions about the city
A nice hotel in a great location. Helpful desk staff. Interesting décor. I've been here before, and have always enjoyed my stay. Not a high end place, but comfortable and funky. Robson St's a good place to be.
Great service, nice room, walkable location. Morning coffee service is a huge plus. Yes, they could stand to update some decor, but all in all a really nice experience. Excellent service goes a long way in my book.
I tend to not review hotels but rather rely on other people's reviews, but I felt obligated to give a positive review based on my stay here last weekend. I really enjoyed this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the middle of Robson Street. The concierge service was great--friendly and very helpful. She provided us maps and recommended places to go since it was our first time in town. Decent value, and great location, but I expected more out of this place. Everything seemed a tad... laid back?
The rooms were okay, neat bay window seats and decor... but they weren't the cleanest. They were tidy, and cleaned, but the staff could put in a little extra effort. Maybe we are a bit picky but there was dust and grime in all the little nooks and crannies... I think if you choose to...

Staff were all very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It is in a great location on Robson. We were able to use the oversize vehicle parking and still be downtown. The room was excellent as was the service.
I decided to stay at this hotel while attending a workshop that was being held in one of the conference rooms. We had a conference there, the receptionist , were so polite, the place of the conference was clean and quiet the food provided by their restaurant was delicious .
This hotel is on Robson, but situated very far away from the shopping district. Our room was so hot we couldn't sleep, and when I asked the staff for help with this issue, they only told me to "turn the thermostat down." Thanks for nothing. Good, comfortable, clean hotel in a great location. Only thing I disliked was the outrageous price for parking! Do some research beforehand to find alternative parking for much cheaper!
The location of the hotel is great, within walking distance to many attractions. The room was small but clean and comfortable. My only problem was the cost for parking - $36/night! Outrageous.
We stayed for NYE and were happy with the location.
This hotel exceeds our expectation in every way. Service is excellent from front desk to valet parking. Hotel room is modern and clean. And the insulation!!! It's the best. You can't hear at all what your neighbors is doing, which is very very rare to find these days in hotels. The location is good, right on Robson St. Love their art displays. Definitely will come back.
Still a nice hotel but has taken a fair drop since we stayed here a few years ago. The room was basically clean as far as sheets and towels, etc. went but there was a fair bit of dust built up on the head board which suggests housekeeping just does a quick pass through. But the location is great for the price and the staff are quite pleasant.
Quaint little hotel with very friendly & helpful staff. Ideally situated on West end of Robson with easy access to shopping & restaurants. Quite close to Vanc. City Centre Sky Train station - 15 min walk. Good value - clean room. Will stay again.
Repeat customer for this hotel. Great value (parking fees excluded!), super clean and crisp furnishings, and friendly staff. Location is walking distance to everything! You won't be disappointed. Perhaps better for couples than kids.
From the friendly reception staff to the small touches that make a stay memorable, i cannot recommend enough a stay at the Listel. We enjoyed it. It was very good value for the money and we will be back.
This is our second time staying here and we love it. Small, without a spa or any other similar amenities, but a great price and right in the middle of tons of food and shopping. Nice enough hotel but it is still a renovated older hotel.Decor is nice with extras in the way of artwork on the "gallery" floor we were on. Poor lighting in room, no fridge, and inadequate seating. I will admit, I was a little worried about staying at the Listel during my visit to Vancouver. Yelp and trip advisor had mixed reviews but thanks to a hotels.com deal, I booked a room for three nights here.

The room was a bit dated.
The interior of the hotel was classy and interesting with the different types of artwork. But, I don't see it as a 4-star hotel other than the price. Disappointing first impression but we were only in a standard room. Grew to like the Listel as it was easy to get around from here. Room facilities were fine -spacious, large comfy bed, good shower, but no communal lounge/public areas made it a place just to come back and sleep. The associated restaurant Forage is excellent and a real dining experience without being pretentious.

The Listel's location can't be beat. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was welcoming and accommodating. It's an excellent value for the area and money, but we would have liked a more comfortable bed. That's our only issue, and it's a minor one, so I would highly recommend The Listel to others. Standard room was shabby and dated, worn carpet, 80's tub. Had good help from front desk.
This smaller hotel, well located with an attentive staff. is recommended. The room was well sized and appointed, even the colors of the decor were uninspiring. Very clean and well cared for.
