Good enough for us

We wanted to take the first ferry in the morning and choose this motel because it is located closest to it. Okary room, clean etc. Noticed there are a bumber of cute little cottages as well, mostly occupide so they must be pretty good as well. Would stay again.

We like the 2 bdrm cottage 11 that we usually rent when coming to Pictou. However this time I am not so sure it is worth it. IOOF Grand Lodge Meeting

Stayed at this Inn , room #1 May 1-3, 2014. Really enjoyed the room with whirlpool tub and King size bed. Lots of space, frig and Microwave. Staff friendly and accommodating. Price very reasonable. Very Clean. Would recommend to others.

Found out when I got there that I could have gotten the room cheaper if I had have booked directly instead of through Expedia. The rooms are old but clean. Staff are very pleasant. It is ok.

Pet friendly

We were looking for a pet-friendly place to stay in Pictou in December and were happy with the Lionstone Inn motel. The room was nice and clean. The pantry kitchen was a big bonus. We paid $105 (two dogs included) before taxes.

Basic, but clean and good value

If you just want an inexpensive, clean place to stay for the night, this is perfect. The bed was comfortable and whilst the facilities were somewhat dated and limited, for a one night stay that was fine. Nice to have the option of a cottage with 2 rooms.

Our stay there was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were well equipped and very clean. The rooms are a decent price and it's a nice place to stay while visiting beautiful Pictou County!

An economical clean place to stay

The staff are super friendly and the room is basic but clean. Great value for your dollar and if you are looking for a clean, friendly place to stay in Pictou this is definitely a great place to stay. Pillows were comfy, beds were comfy and staff is great and accommodating.

Lovely place to stay, was there March 2013, rented unit 27 cottage, was nice and modern, electric Fireplace, flat screen tv, nice and warm and cozy for March winter month, close to sobeys and Tim Hortons and liquor store all within walking distance. Check Your Hotel's Cancellation Policy Please!

I wanted to cancel this room seeing it was a distance from our Trans Canada Highway but was told there was a 48 hour cancellation policy! There was no phone in the facility! The staff was not in the office in the morning until 9! It is close to the PEI Pictou ferry so will benefit from that! A very good price!

We had room number 1, which I believe from speaking to others, that this is the best room. The jet tub could have used a better cleaning, but we dealt with this at our end. Staff were friendly and pleasant. I would book room number 1 again.
