Opened in the summer of 2007, the Hazelton instantly became the hottest place to stay in Yorkville, particularly during the Toronto International Film Festival. Designed by Yabu Pushelberg (of St. Regis San Francisco and W Times Square fame), it is warmly contemporary with rich but muted touches: copper screens, green granite floors, cowhide wall panels. The 77 rooms are quiet and spacious—620... more
Been here a few times and they most certainly cater to men with money.
I found the hostess quite judgemental as asubtle screening process seems to take place before confirming whether they can give you a table or not.

Great service and great rooms

Experience of this hotel was excellent. Quiet in a busy area and service was top notch.
Room service, is not so good. Breakfast, grapefruit was rotten, cappuccino was cold and way too much foam.
The best experience I've ever had staying in a hotel.
Great place. My new hotel for Toronto. So much better than 4S.
We had a great night. Great location and beautiful hotel.
One of the finest hotels I have ever stayed at. Was in town to see The Lion King and to visit for a Friends Bday. Located in the Yorkville area there are many bars and great restaurants to enjoy. It is an expensive hotel but if you want to treat yourself it is the place to stay.
From the award winning restaurant ONE, to the supreme service provided by friendly staff and beautifully appointed rooms, The Hazelton is truly Toronto's best local to relax and enjoy all the city has to offer... From the heart of Yorkville. Can't recommend enough!
Very friendly and efficient staff. Good but not outstanding room. Business center not up to standards of a high end hotel. Good but not exceptional food, lively bar. Charged for 3 nights parking for 2 night stay. Luxurious, extra deep marble tub didn't hold water. Comfortable king size bed, quiet.
I needed to get away from my high stress job and busy family , unplug, go off the grid and I stayed here mid week and it was by far THE best hotel I've ever stayed in. It has all the amenities as a large hotel, but the staff of this amazing hotel nestled in yorkville was second to none... more

The service today was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and looked after all requests with a smile.

You are walking distance from all the best shops in town! My room was clean and spacious for a one king bedroom. The view wasn't the best (parking lot) but the comfort of the room made up for that. The fitness center is clean. Overall, my stay at Hazelton was fantastic!
OK, can't review the entire hotel, but I can review the downstairs lounge and lobby area.
Dahh-ling, GORGEOUS. For those of you San Franciscans who need a reference point, think Redwood Room at the Clift hotel. Grand space, hardwood floors, black and white avant-garde photos of Penelope Cruz, Madonna and more. I really could spend some time admiring the space.

Great Hospitality, visited for Toronto Film Festival, Hospitality a plus especially during a crazy night of film screening and event. The rooms are on the more masculine side but the bathroom was chic, large and the Valmont beauty products +++!.
Great (luxury) room, big, comfy. Good location in Yorkville if you like that neighborhood. Almost didn't want to come when I heard Justin Bieber stayed here but then i figured what the heck. Our stay was notable for the presence of Justin Bieber in the hotel for nearly the length of our stay. That meant the entrance was swarmed with young girls, camera crews and the Bieb's security.
