The room was clean except for a styrofoam cup that was left beside the bed. The toilet flapper valve was leaking which meant the toilet tank would be frequently filling which was a bit irritating when trying to get to sleep. The safety lock was broken. One bedside light was not working. The area outside the room was in need of sweeping. The beds were very firm. The Google map link on Expedia... more
If you want to be close to RMC or CFB Kingston this motel location is good, but there isn't anything else really within walking distance such as convenience store or coffee shop. For the rate the premises are adequate, but not the best value in town. It's a family operation and the staff were warm and welcoming
The hotel location didn't show up on our GPS. We called the owner and he couldn't give clear directions. The room was clean and so was the washroom. The breakfast was very simple: bread, cereal, milk. No meat or eggs.
Quiet little hotel, clean and staff pleasent, nice location
It was not a good experience dealing with the owner the wife is rude and insulting when you bring up any concerns they have breakfast and if you are a few minutes late even when the things are still out she will not let you take any thing . As long as you DONT deal with her you are good... more
Just needed a place for the night for our family of 5. The suite was the perfect size.
My wife and I spent two nights at the Executive Inn when I had day surgery at Kingston General Hospital. The owners were solicitous about my health, and very kind.
The Inn is well located in a quiet area on Highway 2, just 2 kilometers East of Highway 15. It is a short drive to anywhere in downtown Kingston.

We had a chance to spent a night in this motel during labor day long weekend. We stayed in suit and it spacious and super comfortable. The price was really reasonable, its must try motel. The area is super nice and quiet and not too far from the downtown. Staff is very cooperative and helpful.
Friendly helpful staff, and a clean comfortable room are main attributes of this motel. If this is all you really need, it represents good value. Located just east of the military base, only a few hundred yards from the rifle range (don't be alarmed at the sound of occasional gunfire), it is a bit remote to the downtown area with very few amenities nearby.
This place was fantastic. We booked a last minute room on a long weekend and they were very accommodating. Had a room with two double beds. Beds (and pillows especially!) were super comfy. The rooms all exit to the outside, and the area is nice and quiet. They have nice televisions with 60 odd channels, they give towels and soaps... more
Executive Inn Suites Kingston, as a motel, is worthy recommending. It's clean, quiet, and the service is also good.
The Executive Inn and Suites is a great bang for your buck. It's a few minutes drive to downtown Kingston, very close to the Royal Naval College, and extremely close to Treasure Island Marina. The hotel has lovely grounds complete with picnic tables, a large grassy field, and wildflowers. We even saw deer roaming in the lawn. The wifi was... more
We had made reservations a couple of days prior for an overnight in the area. Sadly, like some other reviewers, our reservation was lost, however there were rooms available. The front desk person even took us to see the rooms first to make sure they would be alright (one of our group is in a wheel chair), and upgraded one... more
This motel is a pleasant surprise; we happened on it by accident late one evening when our original travel plans changed. The cheerful owner was helpful, and had no problem with our wanting to inspect the room before registering. It was spacious, spotless and comfortable, with air-con, microwave, fridge, Wi-Fi and an extra living room. There's an ample continental breakfast... more
A very quiet spot near military bases. Saw deer roaming the grounds next to the parking lot in the early morning. Very conveniently located minutes from downtown Kingston. The continental breakfast was adequate but there is a Tim Horton's coffee shop just nearby serving the base and it looked to be very quiet there too. If you are trying to avoid crowds, traffic, and noisy environments, this... more
This is an unexpectedly good family owned hotel. It is an older hotel only a 5 minute drive from downtown and very near the military base. But much of the hotel has been upgraded, it was clean, and the staff (family members) were friendly and helpful. We were in Kingston to attend a sporting event in February. With the small... more
We spent a very pleasant night at this motel. Our room was clean and comfortable, and a decent size. There were plenty of pillows, a nice feature if you need extra ones under your legs because of a sore back. The continental breakfast was simple (some cereal, a bagel and coffee), but good to have to start our day. It... more
July 23 - 27. We are staying in one of the family suites with our kids and pets and can't say enough how nice it is here. The suite is spacious and very clean. The staff are friendly and professional. There is a wonderful pool and it also is very clean. It is also very quiet here at night. A... more

Stayed here in June of 2012. I had a difficult time finding a room due to the rugby game and cyclist event being held the same weekend. I was a bit skeptical, but the Trip Advisor reviews were all quite high, so I ended up booking here. I was overall very pleased with the room.

My husband and I have been making our way to Kingston from Ottawa now for over 25 years. We used to stay in one of the big box chain hotels right downtown, but had ongoing problems with them. Then one day on our way into town, we noticed the Executive Inn and decided to try it. We have never been... more
We were very surpised about this motel. It has very big and clean rooms. The washroom is clean and big as well. There is a microwave and a ironing.station and a coffeemachine, a big TV and free WIFI. The beds are huge!! Free parking directly in front of the room is just great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Free... more
A last minute trip to Kingston on a busy weekend meant most reasonably priced hotels were booked. The reviews for the Executive Inn were good, so we risked it, and we are glad we did. Newly renovated, excellent family service, and extremely quiet. All this at a fantastic price! Our new favorite place to stay in Kingston.
I came with my girlfriend to Kingston to see the 1000 Islands and stayed at The Executive. It's a family owned business that is a little outside of the main city and right next to CFB Kingston (the military base).
I will comment on the location based on categories.

We had stayed at this hotel before during the christmas holidays and it was good, very clean, good service. We stayed here again for a weekend in June and it was completely different. The room especially the bathroom was dirty, we cleaned it before we stepped into the shower. On the plus side it is very close to the base,... more
We booked the Executive Inn on the spur of the moment. The call was promptly answered and the booking clerk asked for CAA/AAA membership and gave a discounted price for the suite. The suite was clean and the carpet showed no obvious aging. The two TV's and A/C's did help. Clean beds and no noise were really helpful. The much... more
Decent rooms, handy for easy access to CFB Kingston.
No continental breakfast which was disappointing as room rates weren't any lower even for the off season.
6 of us stayed in a suite and it was great. The room was spotless, the owner were obliging, it was a great location, the parking was great.
We were too early in the season to enjoy the pool but it looked appealing. Friends of ours stayed in a room and they enjoyed it as well.
Thank you for accomodating...

I had the opportunity for an extended stay at this hotel. I found the service to be nothing short of excellent. It’s a motel – nothing more, nothing less. It is clean and fairly well maintained. The owners are very much trying to please. If you want a clean run in a hotel run by people trying to serve this... more
We had reserved 20 rooms for our wedding guests with this hotel. We confirmed everything with the hotel, in person, and once the invitations went out and people started trying to book a hotel, we found out that our reservation was gone. The inn is located under ten minutes off the 401. The front desk clerk was very helpful when making the reservation and also the clerk on duty when we arrived.
