The staff were very helpful. The rooms could use some renovations. The said it was within walking distance of the town, but you would have to be fit to walk it. Discovered on our last day that there is a bus to get into town and back. It was convenient for the airport

We enjoyed our stay at the Cedarwood. The flooring was newish, and the rooms were clean. Furniture and bedding was dated but comfortable. Good internet connection. Good views from the room.

We had a very comfortable, peaceful stay at this complete gem. The Cedarwood Inn has Large relaxing rooms and a splendid outlook. The gardens are just beautiful. There is a special BBQ area. Beach, boardwalk, and 5 minutes from the airport

It's dated, and the bed was a little soft, but the view of the Ocean makes it all worthwhile. You are a short and scenic walk from downtown Sidney, but just 10 minutes from Victoria Airport, which makes even the earliest flight very manageable. Beats a normal airport hotel hands down.

Well located, and well kept. Suites are slightly dated, and upon entry smelled of must and air freshner, but after opening the windows and door for 10 minutes, it was okay.

Great spot for ferry/airport connections in Victoria BC

Cedarwood was a great location for staying the night before flying out of Victoria BC. We had a nice walk into Sidney for dinner. Very reasonable parking. Taxi to airport took about 10-15 minutes. Room was dark due to wood panelling, but room was clean. Coffee maker was a nice touch. Best room and parking package I found.

The waterfront location, combined with the size of the suite and the motel amenities, made the Cedarwood Inn and Suites a fantastic value for the already economical cost!

WE stayed for 5 nights and did not have any kind of a problem. This is a more homey type of a place in the room we stayed in, although i dounderstand they have all different types of rooms. If you are looking for a big fancy hotel then this is not for you, but for us it was great.

Always stay at Cedarwood when in Sidney...It has the most stunning
seaside views....its close to the playground, and the seawall walking
path... The hotel staff is always friendly and courteous.

We booked late and were pleased to see there was an excellent freeway to quickly get to the centre of the city to attend the opera.

We did not have an opportunity to enjoy much of the facilities as we checked in late in the evening and left early the next morning. Enjoyable and liked the location.

The cleanliness of the room was excellent. They are a bit old fashioned, but really well maintained.

It was convenient to get to Victoria airport and well priced.

Although the room I had was simple, I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Cedarwood. The room was warm and inviting. I loved the quick and lovely walk along the shore into town (Sidney). The staff were friendly and helpful. The next time I go back to Vancouver Island, I will stay at Cedarwood again. I recommend it to others.

This was the 8th hotel we had stayed at in as many days and was as comfortable as some of the more expensive ones we had been at. For the price you can't beat the location or the comfort. We've also stayed at the Sidney Pier and its beautiful but more than twice the cost. Cedarwood can't be beat if you're looking to save a little cash.

The Cedarwood is an older property but well maintained and comfortable. The owners are so helpful. It is located almost right by the ferry terminal for the San Juans and the town of Sidney is charming and within walking distance. Met people from all over the world!

We had a great stay at the Cedarwood Inn. The location is perfect directly across from the water and the rooms are lovely. We had a room with a fully equipped kitchen - which was fantastic. The room clean and tidy and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. Would definately stay there again.

Clean, comfortable and quiet accommodations. Beautiful grounds and gardens. Friendly, helpful staff. Our suite had all amenities plus fireplace and a fabulous view of the water. We especially enjoyed sitting in the lush gardens. We will definitely return to this lovely spot.
