A great small venue blues and jazz bar. They have good pub style food and a decent wine selection. They carry some macro beers but they have a very good selection of local craft beers (I.e. Paddock Wood and Black Bridge Brewing).
I saw Canadian Blues artist Paul Reddick there and it was one of the best concerts I've attended anywhere. Good beer and good music.
This is an excellent jazz place with underground atmosphere and really good, diverse music acts. Afternoon locals meeting spot for after work cool down and evening music venue. The management really know their musicians and get top billing acts in on a regular basis. Good food on offer and check out the special events scheduled.
Tucked away, it's got a good vibe and a lot of the talent that we've seen is amazing. Where else will you get jazz in Saskatoon? This would be the place! Length of stay depends on why you are there... more
I love this place! its local artists and lots of other non local artists I love, playing here! the atmosphere is great and the food is also!
In tandem with its name, the Saskatoon Jazz Society is all about live jazz and so is its location, the Bassment. Live performances by local as well as international Jazz artists are a regular feature here.
