Tavern Dominion is a super romantic place for a date night. The food is wonderful and the service delightfully professional. The best thing about however is really the ambiance. Beautifully appointed French bistro with decent menu. VERY loud and the "house filtered" water for 3$, seriously? Super pretentious. But Montrealers like to spend money on nominal things to make them feel important sometimes.

Good food and cocktails

Nice décor and a great atmosphere to eat in. The service was excellent, waiters very friendly and attentive. The food was really nice in good sized portions and there was a good choice of cocktails at very reasonable prices compared to the UK. A nice evening out.

Cozy, pretty and classic

The decor here is lovely to look at. The canuck cocktail is terrific. The menu options are varied and plenty. The scotch egg is delicious, the cheese plate is huge, the gravlax is tasty and filling (but not your typical blini), the fries and mashed potatoes were both ok, and the steak was delicious. The decor alone is worth a visit. Part gentlemen's club, part 1970's rec room, this is not a place that takes itself too seriously.

A really fun place to grab lunch, slightly on the pricey side.

A bit expensive for students but it’s worth the experience. Awesome drinks, some of their food is even homemade (hello sausages) and most importantly, the kitchen is open till MIDNIGHT. With the cold weather coming back i can’t wait to try their sunday roast
