Love Swiss Chalet
May 28, 2014Our family loves Swiss Chalet! We go here for good affordable food. Great place for kids too. Salads are huge & awesome and chicken is always a no fail! I love their chicken wings, the Chalet BBQ sauce rocks! Never disappointed!

Terrible service, typical food
April 10, 2014Absolutely the worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. We sat for over an hour waiting for our food, which was apparently forgotten by the waitress and had to be redone. Never saw our waitress for over 1/2 hour and when the manager comped our desserts, it took them 15 minutes to get them to us. Brutal!!

January 09, 2014I always have a good dinning experience here. The food is always fresh. The service is fast and polite. If you can get Nick for a waiter it will be worth the tip. I like the chicken rib combo with a nice glass of beer. Can not go wrong there.

The first time we ever ordered from Swiss chalet you could pick chicken or ribs, I went yesterday and now they offer fish on top of everything else. Something for everyone there.
The manager served me and she was super friendly, the chicken was hot and fresh and the fries were also hot and not soggy at all. Will come...

third time not a charm

The hostess was great,friendly.The server was unatentive People came in after us (20 min) were served their meal first as we were having the same thing,this tells me the order was forgotton.
Sorry Swiss you lost 4 customers .Three times with bad service ,theirs a lot of other places to eat here.

Service was almost non-existent, waiting 15 minutes for two glasses of water and the food was only adequate, if you got it. Food and service have improved since last visit
July 21, 2012Previous visits had left me disappointed with this restaurant but with our friends assuring us things had improved we went again last night. The meals were hot and tastier than earlier visits. A couple of visits from the on-duty manager to our table ensured that they were serious about their service and meal quality.

Dirty dishes
April 30, 2012The first pop brought was in a dirty glass. It was sent back and again a dirty glass was brought. My chocolate milk revealed things stuck in the bottom of the glass when I was done drinking it. Made me gag. Went to Swiss Chalet in Red Deer a couple of days ago, the food there is delicious

Not great at all

I visited this recently opened restaurant twice in September 2011, once at lunchtime and once in the evening.
On both occasions I chose the rotisserie chicken quarter chicken dinner served with choice of white or multi grain roll, chalet dipping sauce and choice of side which, in my case, I chose fries.
