What a find and well worth the trip

We were coming home to Edmonton from Drumheller, Alberta (August 2014 long weekend) and thought we would stop to see the Arboretum in Trochu (Hwy 21). We found the Sweetgrass Cafe (located inside the Arboretum) and stopped for lunch.

Excellent catering as well
April 28, 2014Although I have visited the Arboretum I have not yet eaten at the cafe there BUT I just experienced catering by the Sweetgrass Cafe at a workshop I attended in Trochu. A hidden gem
March 05, 2014Sweetgrass Café is located in the Trochu Arboretum in a small, intimate historical home. Dine inside, or outside with a garden view (weather permitting) The limited menu changes every day, but it's always great. Service is outstanding.
