The food is awesome! We have tried many different dishes and I would recommend all! We had a laugh at one of the duck dishes it was a bit hotter ,my brother was on fire!l. Lol. I wouldn't bring little kids.

We were a group of 8,yesterday,Feb.8,dining at my favourite restaurant in NB and Canada! Yes,it was a bit chilly at first,but our waiter took care of us,and made us comfortable.

Consistently excellent

Suwanna has been a favorite of mine for a few years now. Each and everytime I go, the food is delicious, and service is great. Suwanna's is a great place for groups. The restaurant is in an old house with lots of character. The food is always good but there are so many choices it is good to go with a group so you can order several items and share. Prices are in the mid to high range.

If you love curry, you'll love your time here

The food is fresh and very tasty

The flavours of the food are wonderful, very tasty and not over done. The staff is extremely friendly and cater to your wishes. If more rice is needed at your table it is brought promptly at no additional charge. Although there is no “take out” you leftovers are packed for you to take home.

surprised at how meiocre this is

We went here based on reviews here, and local recommendations. Food was decent but not anything remotely resembling genuine Thai food...and in fact the owner and chef is Swiss, according to our server. Not unpleasant food, but mediocre quality and presentation. I have had as good in mall food courts, sad to say.

Among the best Thai in Atlantic Canada. You'll need to get a reservation - despite it's peculiar location. Don't expect a Thai decor (it's in an old victorian home) - but the food is absolutely amazing.

Vegetarian Delight

We had dinner here on our way to Cape Breton. We almost didn't go in because we were in our 'traveling clothes' and it looked fancy but we are glad we did. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

This place is SO fantastic

Unbelievably good food. The masaman curry is fantastic and they have a simple peanut and carrot salad that's amazing. Oddly enough, they have a fantastic selection of Swiss desserts (although you'll be too stuffed from the fantastic food.) I find myself going to Suwanna and wanting to order 5 meals so that I can have a week's worth of incredible food. My favourite treat is the curry duck - I can't even begin to describe the flavours! The service is great, though the atmosphere could be better. But the food is just too incredible!!!

It is this restaurant on which I base my opinion of all others. Thai has become my food of choice since first sampling leftovers from Suwanna as part of a dinner my wife attended ten years ago. Their amazing curries (red curry with chicken is my favourite), Pad Thai and Keo Crob are, in my opinion, the reason humans evolved having tastebuds (Note: This is only a theory). Nothing compares!
