My husband and I stayed here this past week. First time visiting Orillia, The Hotel was excellent. Rooms were spacious, very clean. The staff very accommodating and efficient. Amazing hotel and very decent

Very comfortable room and rarely do I say this but definitely worth the money! This is a beautiful, comfortable and modern hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. Service is outstanding and the staff is very friendly. The hotel restaurant has delicious and reasonably priced food.

A Pleasant Surprise

My husband and I stayed here because we were visiting our grandchildren the next day for Visitor's Day at a nearby camp. We decided to come to Orillia a day earlier and make it a mini holiday. Stone Gate Inn Orillia - met our needs..maybe not a good choice for family fun

Couldn't sleep at all

We booked at Stone Gate Inn based on the customer reviews, but our stay was horrible. The air-condition system was making huge sound all through the night and we couldn't sleep. The fridge was also making terrible noice from its compressor, all in all Stone Gate was a bad choice. (We stayed on June 29, 2014)

We had a wonderful stay

My family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights, and with other relatives in different rooms. Friendly Staff and Great Service

Clone this dam' thing and replace every mid-price motel in the country

Breakfast was kind of weak, but I've encountered that elsewhere in Canada at even some pretty nice places.

Very Nice Hotel

Very nice hotel, friendly and accomdataing staff. We booked a large group outing for a weekend and were out by 4:30am each morning. The staff had breakfast ready for us at that time even though the official breakfast time was 7am to 10am. Enjoyed the stay there.

Hospitality Plus

Absolute hidden gem in Orillia, staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms are very nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast definately is a bonus. They also have a nice little pool and hot tub.

Great overnight

Highly recommend this hotel. Good value for money. Great staff and excellent rooms.
Only stayed one night, but we couldn't find anything to complain about.
Included breakfast was a bonus.
Would love to stay at this hotel again, if our travels take us to this area.

Stay at Stone Gate Inn

We just returned from spending a long weekend at Stone Gate Inn. I'm usually nervous about booking rooms that have kitchen facilities but our suite was immaculately clean, the bed comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. The pool is very tiny...probably great for those with children...and the breakfast was very basic but we would recommend this hotel.

More Awesome in Orillia

Great little spot with lovely amenities, friendly staff, understated elegance and quality amenities. A refreshing change from the over rated and over priced chain hotels. The pool and whirlpool are very small but you really don't care because the place is so lovely you don't need any extras to help you unwind.

Very nice room and $100.00 less than Rama

Very nice hotel, spotless room, 5 minute drive from the Casino Rama. We stayed overnight after a concert there this past summer. They do offer shuttle bus, but since we had our own car we used it instead, they will provide you with a good map none the less. Location is also 5 minutes from downtown Orillia.

Great for a Week End

We stayed here for the ZZ Top concert and so did a lot of others. Rooms were very clean and we had a room that allowed me to sleep the night away while my husband watched TV. Handy having a 24 hour Foodland next door for the late night bag of popcorn.

This Inn has a wonderful atmosphere! Quality value & cleanliness was only outdone by the friendly staff! The free evening appetizers were an unexpected bonus and the nighttime chocolates and weather card were really a nice touch that we have only experienced at resort vacation hotels. We'll be back!

The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious with a nice fireplace. On Friday evening free cocktail appetizers. The complementary breakfast in the morning was good but hard to get a table. It is a little annoying that you have to book the shuttle so far in advance.

Worth every penny!

This hotel was worth every penny! The outside of the building was very well maintained and impressive. The inside was even nicer. Everything was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. It was nice to have a small kitchenette in the room (which included a microwave and toaster). I plan to stay here again in future travels to Orillia.

This is a wonderful place to spend a night, however a little out of my price range to do too often, but it was a nice splurge.Friendly check in and beautiful studio room with kitchen and fireplace as well as a dvd/vhs player and 42" tv. My husband and I have stayed at the Stone Gate Hotel on the average of 4-5 times per year since it opened. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We feel like long lost relatives when we go there and are treated like family. They take care of every possible need anyone can have. Very Highly Recommended!!!!!!!!!!
