Brunch disaster

Will not be going back too this restaurant service was poor and the brunch if you can call it food was terrible cold coffee was hot though .The restaurant had food laying on the floor not far from where we were sat .A lot of workers walking around but nobody was doing anything .

Great Seafood chowder

Steaks are too thin but I found them very tasty. I had pan fried haddock, large portion, great mashed real potato's.
I started with the seafood chowder. It wasn't filled with chopped potato just tasty seafood. Probably one of the best, reasonably priced seafood chowders in Halifax!

Saturday Night Prime Rib dinner speciall is great

If you like Prime rib with wonderful yorkshire pudding you will love this. I however do not like their oven roasted vegtables. They are terrible. get the baked potatoe instead. You can request yoour roast to order,it is a great meal. Have enjoyed other meals at this restaurant and enjoyed them.

The food here is good, just average, nothing special.
We ate here tonight, service was fast and friendly. Food was okay, but we did notice the prices increased since the last time we ate there. I believe it's becoming a bit too expensive in relation to the quality of the food. We probably won't go back again for quite awhile.

Not worth the money

they use to make a decent fliet of tenderloin but now they had to add a "piece of bacon" to it...............why change something that was good to begin with. Due to allergies the only thing on the menu that I can eat now is the strip loin steak. It is chewy, lots of fat and not much flavour.

Three of us went for lunch. I had the lunch special and the others had steak. Both the food and the service were very good. A good choice if you are in the area.

Decent food, decent price

I had the ribs and steak combo and the portion was very generous. I would recommend choosing the non-marinated version as the marinade was a bit too strong for my liking. The owner was busy working the floor and checking on guests, which was nice to see for a change. The wait staff were pleasant and attentive.

I always have the Del Monico steaks. They are consistently very good. A popular restaurant and always busy but service is prompt and friendly.

You're better off cooking at home

Scrambled eggs are not made from whole fresh eggs, they taste spongy and dry and when asked if they could be made with fresh eggs, I was told that the kitchen would not do this. Was not pleased with the quality of food, the service or the price. Do not plan on returning.

For the price you pay it is better to go somewhere else and spend your hard earned.You leave hungry and as I am a small eater, this to me is bad. The blooming onion is so full of grease it makes you sick. Fries are good and they do have a good breakfast. Enough said!
