Comfortable and convenient

I stayed at this hotel while working in Guelph for 6 months. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a decent breakfast everyday and an ok lunch 3 or 4 nights per week.
The exercise room was with only 1 treadmill. Free laundry on site was a big plus.

Stayed her for business. Made the fatal flaw of assuming I booked my room and forgot to reserve one. Nonetheless the front desk staff were great and found me a room. The hotel was technically all booked by colleauges, but they found me a room that was away from the elevator.

A welcome refuge when the lights went out
December 26, 2013My wife, our dogs and I spent three nights at the Staybridge as a result of the ice storm that left us without electricity. The staff were welcoming, very helpful and our accommodations were excellent. We had a one-bedroom suite with kitchenette that was perfect for us. I will recommend this hotel without hesitation.

My boyfriend was coming down to Guelph for one night so we were shopping around for a hotel to stay at. We don't mind paying a bit extra for better quality so we were definitely leaning toward the Staybridge right from the start. Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights through Hotwire for a weekend stay (Friday & Saturday nights).
Not impressed! Upon check in we asked for one room to have 2 beds a we were staying with our adult children (girl & boy). We were told that a 2 bed room is an extra fee of $25 per night!

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the suite. The kitchenette with full refrigerator, stove, dishwasher etc. was most appreciated although we did have the full complimentary breakfast buffet which was also excellent.

Really nice property

Wonderful stay for one night on our way to Michigan.
Location was perfect, a short drive from the 401.
Room was very large and well appointed.
Kids enjoyed the pool area and it was very clean.
Dining is close by but it is a car ride away. Hopefully when the construction is done it will be easier to get to.

Over the last few years we have stayed at this location at least 2-3 times a year while visiting our daughters. We have always been extremely satisfied with the room, the friendly and helpful staff and the complementary breakfasts. They also serve a complementary buffet supper 3 nights a week.

Arrived in guelph early and they allowed me to checkin at 1pm vs the regular 3pm time.
Front desk lady was very friendly. Many things happened that day including a power outage during mid day, but they handled it very well.
