Love...insane cheesy love every time I walk in! In honor of poutine week, I wanted to treat a deserving friend to some homemade poutine with sweet potato fries and mushroom gravy with, of course, good quality cheese curds. This cheese shop straddles the territory somewhere between the supermarket counter and Janice Beaton Fine Cheeses. I just had the most amazing service yesterday at Springbank cheese is Willow Park. I went in and told the young guy working that I was a big fan of aged cheddar, but I wanted to try something different. He got me a sample of his suggestion- Cave Aged Gruyere- and it was bang on exactly what I wanted. Im sure he would have continued to help and let me try samples had he not found what I wanted... more

Don't forget their second location in Crowfoot. You can get your cheese at Springbank, bread at Cobs and wine at Crowfoot Liquor all in one mall!
