This is my all time favorite place to eat. If you love soup then this place is for you. I've been here multiple times and I was never disappointed ever I love every meal I've had here. I love the decorations and the staff always makes you feel like you are at home.
We are from another city and two times came Quebec for business and every time go this place.
Mexicano soup is smh really incredible. I wish i know the recipe.
Decorations inside and menu that is that i enjoy there
Very nice service, helpful waitress. Soups were well done, I visited with my family and it seemed that we were eating at different restaurants. Soups were unique and delicious.
My only advise is to keep a menu handy so you can double check if your soup is served as it should be. Out of five soups that we ordered, two were missing the protein (veal meatballs and shrimp)!
As I mentioned before...

It was my experience last evening that changed my overall view of this establishment from a four to a two.
I've been here before and had great service, great food. The first time I came, I had asked the nice woman siting next to us about sizes of the soups and she said most people split the large but that even the smaller was very big. I ordered the Italian soup drapeau-style, with the side of...

perfect for a cold fall day. i had the mexicaine and a cafe on a leisurely afternoon while reading the paper. its a bit away from the city centre but only a short walk over the rule de la criox-rouge or rue de pont bridge. worth it if you venture off the beaten path!
Excellent service. Delicious soups. We tried Mexicaine and Provençale soups, both were excellent. Waitress recommended local beer "la Matante" which also was great choice. Next visit in Quebec City will definitely include visit to Soupe & Cie.
Been here twice and ordered the Indian and Thai soups.
Loved the Indian curry soup! Thick and creamy, and good on a cold, rainy day. Loved the chunks of veggies and paneer (cheese) that were cooked in it.
The Thai soup with rice noodle could've been better. Most authentic Thai soups I've had are a lot spicier, and this was supposedly the hottest soup on their menu. The coconut milk broth was...

Finally this kind of restaurant in the Capitale. A good soup is pretty rare. Every single soup there is unique and original.
Great choices of soup, nice setup. Definitively some good comfort food for the tough times.
Thank you.
Unaware of this little pearl, we went to Soup & Cie without many expectations of what we would have found, simply because it was close to the place where we were staying. To our own surprise, we found a great and affordable restaurant in a much underestimated neighbourhood (by tourists) of Quebec City. We loved the atmosphere (the decor is... plus
A joy for lunch. This super-casual, hipster outpost a bike or bus ride from Basse Ville was a welcome destination during our cycling trip to Limoilou. After a bit of confusion (I don't speak French), we figured out that the Thai and the Indian were the best to try. And they did not disappoint.
A big, hearty bowl that sufficed for lunch (and took us to a late dinner), and delicious crusty bread...

SURVEILLEZ VOTRE FACTURE!!!!

The soups were hit or miss... The Swiss was FANTASTIC. the Lebanese only so-so. The Japanese is really good and so is the Indian. All soups are very filling and most come with a little side (bread and cheese, lots and lots of cheese for the Swiss, for example).
I'm not a fan of bubble tea, but if you are, it's one of the few places in the city that serve it and apparently it's really good.

Vraiment une belle découverte. Très original, chaleureux et tellement délicieux.
A gorgeous little restaurant, Soupe & Cie is located at 3e Avenue in the Vieux Limoilou neighborhood of Quebec City. Specializing in serving soups, it is known for its amazing Thai and Indian varieties. With a laid-back and casual ambiance, the restaurant seems perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends. A great choice for those chilly winter evenings, Soupe & Cie has stand-outs like... plus
